NHL gamers will cheer loud for NHL 06, which again proves to be the most playable and engrossing NHL game around, with a very good control scheme and better A.I. than ever along with online play that brings a new level of competitive gameplay to the forefront.

Open for Business will require you to put aside the leisurely pursuits of your Sims, roll up your sleeves and put in a hard day’s work to succeed. But in gameplay and fun, this is the most rewarding payday you’ll find in any Sims game.

The game is too darn short. Four or five additional levels would have helped to remedy this, but this isn’t enough to irreparably damage the game. It’s still a damn good title well worth taking for a spin.

The presence of Scully and Campbell calling the game add a sense of realism to the game—if you could only hear the game, you’d think that the game might actually be on television.

Incredibly enough all the graphic novel cutscenes feature full voice-overs of the overwrought dialogue and descriptions. Granted it’s scratchy, but it still comes through as understandable.

Metal Slug Anthology is already a tremendous deal for your money, and the fact that it's portable makes it all the sweeter, especially since you can save the game when you quit and return to where you left off.

Another small genesis for the franchise, which is now scarily ever closer to being as true a life simulation as it could possibly be.

Charlie Murder is a hard-rocking good time on its own merits, not the least of which are the multiplayer and RPG facets that combine with satisfying classic Ska Studios brawling gameplay.

All in all, Grid 2 is a beautiful game that does a spectacular job on the presentation and delivery for an authentic as you're likely to get racing experience. Enthusiasts will find the experience a little too thin for their lacking, but the mainstream audience will find much here to keep their attention if they are willing to put in that initial investment.

All in all, Medal of Honor: Airborne brings a sense of authenticity and realism with a tinge of the arcade to a simulation of a daring period in American military history.

It's hard! On the plus side, it is not frustratingly so, as with some dedicated play, most gamers will likely find it to be a rewarding challenge.

As far as audio goes, the game is a mixed bag of licensed music.

A great story, and ferocious and intense air combat missions in a variety of different flying war machines soars Ace Combat Assault Horizon to dizzying heights as a great skyward-bound fighting shooter.

It's a side-scrolling platformer where goombas are flattened, blocks smashed, turtle shells hurled, and tricky platforms navigated by, what else, jumping. And the coins... so many coins.

It doesn't have the same high quality of the NBA Street series due to the more urban roots of street basketball versus street football, but for a good adrenaline rush of smash-mouth football, look no further.

The presentation in LSW is excellent. The game’s visuals are detailed and the Lego look is superb.

If you are looking for a game that provides ample opportunity to blast the tar out of legions of enemies, that challenges your fingers dexterity, isn’t afraid to challenge its players, and, most importantly, keep a smile on its players’ faces while all of this is happening, Alien Hominid is well worth buying.

Unequivocally, the world would be a better place if there were more games like Wario Land Shake It!

While not as complicated as some of Shrapnel’s other games (a good thing) it’s a particularly slow affair.

It’s got a great setting, suitable music, familiar characters, and enough challenge for the stoutest player. However, if you’re easily frustrated you may want to think before making this purchase.

It offers some decent old-shool action and the web stats but the old-school passwords kick it in the teeth.

The animation is first rate and there are no load times to speak of.

Certainly the best EyeToy game on the PS2.

With tons of game modes and a large number of customizable options World Tour Soccer 2003 will bring back soccer fans for more, even with it's short-comings.

Compared to many other wrestling games, FPWR is a much more old school affair, but it is also extremely details oriented.

For 1200 MS Points, the compilation will appeal to fans of the arcade titles if only for the sake of nostalgia because there are plenty of better fighting games available.

A significant improvement from the first iteration of the game on the PS2 -- it features an exciting and intense single player campaign, even if it is on the short side, while the multiplayer is mediocre at best.

Even though NBA Live 06 apparently uses a new rendering engine, the graphics are pretty average.
