It’s appalling that a game like this exists. The people involved should be ashamed of themselves for trying to profit from the hard work of the original developers, and Apple should do a better job policing apps that so clearly rip off the intellectual property of others.- Arcade Sushi

Pet Peaves Monsters is a highly recommended download, especially if your app filled existence yearns for those Tamagotchi days. As long as you’re willing to think outside the box and eat a few mushrooms along the way, the trip should be nothing short of fantastic.- Arcade Sushi

Where’s My Water? 2 is a solid addition to an ever expanding franchise, and although I can still do without its in-app pay scheme, it’s a game that’s worth checking out.- Arcade Sushi

Call of Duty: Strike Team is an amazing hybrid of two great gaming styles that just works on the mobile format. It may not fully capture the experience one gets from a console Call of Duty game, but it does pretty damn well on its own.- Arcade Sushi

It lasted for a little bit, but as with a lot of free-to-play titles out there, staying power was not its strong suit. While there are certainly things to unlock and grind for, it doesn’t feel like there will be any gameplay-related payoffs to work your way towards. But Giant Boulder of Death is certainly a good enough time to give it a look.- Arcade Sushi

The only saving grace is the co-op multiplayer campaign mode. You might be interested in trying it out… if it’s really important to you. Just don’t expect bells and whistles to go off.- Arcade Sushi

Rooms of Memory is a first rate mystery and puzzler that’s filled with nuance and ingenuity. Unfortunately, the free to play mechanic severely handicapped any kind of pure love I had for the title, and maybe if I truly inherited Bellows’ lavish mansion I’d buy every single in-app purchase available.- Arcade Sushi

I cannot conclude this review without stating my utter hated for gyroscopic controls, and Driver’s Ed still does not give you the option of manually steering your car with on-screen controls (or any options for that matter).- Arcade Sushi

All in all, Zombie Typomaniac is a solid title. The typing can get a bit tiring and cumbersome, and you’ll likely long for the satisfying clack of a real keyboard, but the gameplay is fun and unusual, and features America’s favorite hobby — zombie killing!- Arcade Sushi

Alphaman might be billed as an app that will help children build their vocabulary, but it’s a game that will appeal to all ages. It’s a pleasurable trip I don’t mind taking a few more times down the road, and maybe this time the words, or my preconceived notions, won’t get in the way.- Arcade Sushi

Quite lackluster overall, but has some decent controls and plays as intended. Unfortunately, I would not even recommend it to even the most dedicated of fans since there are much better football apps to download.- Arcade Sushi

It’s refreshing to know that for just $1.99 you can take a rabbit for the visual sky ride of his life. Few apps have ever led me to a daydreaming state, but none of them knew how to fly like Cloud Spin. Book your flight as soon as possible, and let those dreams guide Lucky to a better place.- Arcade Sushi

Fix the Leaks is a cute, fun puzzle game. It’s inexpensive and respects the players enough not to bombard us with additional in-app purchases and ads. If you like Cut the Rope, you’re sure to like Emotion Rays Entertainment’s adorable new puzzler.- Arcade Sushi

Joining Hands 2 is a fun, simple sequel that’s great for younger kids and can be enjoyed by adults too, but in a more limited manner. It’s priced to sell and worth a try if you enjoyed the first one, or are simply looking for some incredibly low-stress gaming.- Arcade Sushi

I really do love Bravoman: Binja Bash, and if it wasn’t for the control issues, it would easily stand as one of my favorite apps of 2013. But it’s just one minor flaw in an otherwise first rate experience.- Arcade Sushi

It may not replace Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 as your go-to for trading card gaming goodness on the iPad, but it’s a decent enough game for you to pick up and play every few hours on your iPhone. Just don’t expect to get terribly strategic.- Arcade Sushi
