To sum up: Gizmo is super cute, and playing Drop That Candy can be fun for a little while.- Arcade Sushi

On the surface, Trouserheart is simple and charming. But at its core, this title offers a distinct sense of challenge atop a fun-inspiring backdrop. He might look like the dad of Sir Arthur from Ghouls ‘N Ghosts (they even have the same underwear!), but I assure you, Trouserheart is all heart and no pants.- Arcade Sushi

For a free game, FIFA 14 is an amazing value and packs in all of the fun and deep content of a console sports game down into a mobile platform.- Arcade Sushi

Feeding a pot-bellied feline even more cookies may be a no-no in the real world, but it’s a guilty pleasure if you’re living in an iOS universe with Dr. Meow.- Arcade Sushi

Puzzle Knights is a diverting title that enables gamers to enjoy two different experiences within the same app. The combat mechanic may not be as intense as Infinity Blade III, but if you want a relatively peaceful, easy feeling experience with an RPG puzzler, this app doesn’t disappoint.- Arcade Sushi

Deer Hunter 2014 may not be for everyone, especially for detractors who see hunting as a bloodsport. On a purely gaming level, I was more than pleasantly surprised.- Arcade Sushi

Orborun is a first rate title to just pick up and play for a few minutes. As a morning pick me up or as a jolt of gaming espresso, it won’t steer you wrong. Its true pleasures lies in pushing your device, as well as your coordination, to its limits.- Arcade Sushi

If you can master the controls, it’s a lot of fun to try to beat your high score and check off the achievements linked to GameCenter. But, with as finicky as these controls are, most players will find more aggravation than fun here.- Arcade Sushi

Sidekick Cycle is a simple game that’s fun to play in bursts, but there are better endless runner/downhill racer experiences to be found in the App Store.- Arcade Sushi

If only its action gameplay didn’t always result in being mowed down by one-hit kills, with the addition of some type of alert countdown a la Metal Gear, The Merc Files could have been amazing.- Arcade Sushi

If you’re a fan of visual puzzles you’d be remiss to pass up Help Me Fly. It’s a unique, fun little game that comes at a budget price with no secret agenda; all it wants is for you to have fun solving puzzles and helping planes take off.- Arcade Sushi

Ultimately, I recommend Scrooge’s Loot to those with children due to it being free, imaginative and simplistic fun. But for those hoping for a clear-cut shooter, I suggest you look elsewhere.- Arcade Sushi

Football fans will love NFL Runner: Football Dash because it’s a blast to play. You could get super competitive, building up enough coin to top whatever team that you hate, or just strive to topple as many obstacles as possible. Either way, it’s game on!- Arcade Sushi

When a horde of zombies start filling in the room and you start backtracking, the experience falters occasionally. But otherwise, Dead Effect is a shot to the brain, right where it counts the most.- Arcade Sushi

Dodge This! is a fun, solid game. Exactly how long it stays fun will depend on the player, but thanks to the high degree of repetition and stingy upgrades and unlocks, the fun will run out eventually.- Arcade Sushi

It aims for a younger audience and should do quite well in helping children sharpen their minds and learn important logic skills. Still, I’m not so sure it’s worth $2.99 for five simple matching games. But, if you really want a teaching tool for the young person in your life, you could do a lot worse than Fiete.- Arcade Sushi

Spirit Runner may be a little rough around the edges with it’s activity log, but the main focus of this app is to motivate its users to go out there and really embrace exercising on a daily basis, and the outdoors as well. Yes, this app is geared towards kids, but adults can easily use this as well.- Arcade Sushi

Once they iron out all the small kinks, I believe that one day the Infectonator series will be able to deliver a flawless zombie runner. While today wasn’t that day, Armor Games definitely got extremely close to the helicopter.- Arcade Sushi

No matter what kind of iOS platformer you’re looking at, though, it’s probably going to be better than Squid Up, which about as average of a game as you can possibly make. It’s fine, it works, but there’s just nothing special to it.- Arcade Sushi
