Babel Rising shows that sometimes bigger isn't better in that it works far better on a mobile platform than it does on consoles. It can still get a bit repetitive at times, but when 5 minutes of smiting can calm the nerves, it's worth the sacrifice.- AppGamer

The most important thing you should take away from this review, however, is that you can dismember the zombies limb by limb with your shotgun, as a Monk, in a chapel, on your iPhone.- AppGamer

Chop Chop Kicker may be basic and lack the longer term challenge of some other flying games, but the cute graphics and interesting use of a crayon help it to stand out among the crowd.- AppGamer

My only real gripe about the game. You control the swing of the club by moving your finger first down and then quickly up the screen. You can add fade and draw to the shot by moving slightly to the left or right swiping upwards, which I found myself doing far too often. Maybe it's just me and my crappy fingers, or perhaps it was due to the screen size. I don't know, but I thought it was worth mentioning.- AppGamer

Guerrilla Bob is a non-stop gun-slinging assault on the senses. If it didn't play so competently, the game might come off as brash or annoying, but, it doesn't, and comes out smelling of roses.- AppGamer

I admit to being sceptical about a jumping game featuring Sonic, but aside from the odd annoying level in the story mode and a feeling that Sonic really shouldn't be travelling upwards, something I don't think I'll ever get used to, Sonic Jump is an enjoyable little gem that took me by surprise.- AppGamer

The game weighs in at a hefty £5.99 on the old price scales, but for high production values and sheer amount of content on offer, the price is justified.- AppGamer

Nitro Chimp is a great little time waster that rides on the success of having a monkey on a motorbike as much as the thrill of the stunt-based racing. Although it always feels as if there should be more to the game, it's still fun to pick up and play.- AppGamer

Starball is the App Store's very own downloadable form of heroin, just without all the horrible complications. Starball is concentrated fun that gets into the bloodstream quicker than a vodka shot to the eye.- AppGamer

33rd Division doesn't take the time management genre in a radically new direction, ignoring this however, Craneballs have created the most refined time management game to date.- AppGamer

With such old-school sensibilities grafted onto such contemporary presentation, Boy Loves Girl can bring entertainment to both young and old, offering equal amounts of cheer and challenge. You will have to go far to find a game as pleasing, but why bother when this one is available?- AppGamer

There are some clever ideas in this otherwise straightforward platform game that enable it to stand out among the crowd and the story adds another enjoyable element to Solarola, as well as pushing the player forward to find out what happens next. While it's not perfect, the level design and bright, beautiful graphics make this game worth checking out if you're a fan of platformers.- AppGamer

Ultimately, Sprinkle succeeds in bringing something new to the table with the excellent water physics and the cute characters. If you've completed World of Goo and fancy another top class liquid based physics game, grab a copy of Sprinkle from the App Store and you won't be disappointed.- AppGamer

The game is far from perfect, particularly with the at times bland visuals and amateur looking character design, but these aesthetic qualms are too superficial for us not to whole heartedly recommend the game.- AppGamer

With a great art style which makes everything look like techno Hello Kitty meets the J-pop Youtube generation and a some trippy disco beats to play along to, Disco Kitten is a blast of fun that will keep you coming back for more. There's certainly nothing else like it on the App Store.- AppGamer

Darkside has a lot of content and 3 game modes that offer several different ways to play. It's great for a quick dose of asteroid blasting and the mission mode provides a more structured take on the twin stick shooter.- AppGamer

Overall, the scope of Atari's Greatest Hits is amazing. It's certainly the best emulator on the App Store for content and presentation. If there were more control options or a modified version for the 2600 games then the package would be perfect.- AppGamer

The best Sims game on iOS, particularly if you're playing on iPad. It's just as addictive as the other good freemium titles out there (Tiny Towers, Smurfs Village) even if it does take a bit of grinding to get anywhere.- AppGamer

While Woody Woodpecker does have its flaws, there's no doubt that this is a fun game that is well worth the asking price. It won't last forever, unless Chillingo decide to support it with further levels, but it's certainly entertaining while it lasts and with its colourful cast of characters, thanks to an interesting licence, it's a great little take on the Tiny Wings idea.- AppGamer

While One Epic Game isn't quite as bold as the title might like to think, it's does a good job of standing out as one of the better Endless Runners. The art and music, along with the (sometimes questionable) comedy make it worth considering if you're a fan of the genre.- AppGamer

Despite these faults, it's hard not to be impressed by Shadowgun. The game is visually stunning and fun to play. It's certainly the best 3rd Person Shooter on iOS and paves the way for further expansion of the iOS shooter genre.- AppGamer
