Brew Town is an entertaining simulation clicker style game that is keeping me busy whenever I sit down and check in. I found the tutorial to be a bit unclear, but the game is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of things. And it's easy to just lose yourself in for a few hours at a time here, especially when you've become super efficient at brewing and filling orders. The graphics are great, and the sounds are nicely done.

As a fan of Brough's other games, I think Cinco Paus is another great hidden gem from him that I'm happy to have in my collection. The distinctive art style makes me think of obscure adult swim cartoons, and I think the experimental approach with Portuguese is a fascinating perspective on language barriers in games. The gameplay itself is easy to pick up and learn after a few tries, and I enjoy the fact that each staff has a new set of properties in each game. It keeps you on your toes and you must try them all out in the first level to know and understand what their properties are. On top of that, there are a lot of other things in the game to learn as you play, such as enemy behaviors and what items do.

MU Origin 2 is not revolutionary, but it’s worthy of the MU license. While there’s plenty to keep you busy, and all the staples of the mobile RPG genre are here, you’ll enjoy it most if you like your RPGs fairly lightweight.

Swing King & The Temple of Bling is a cute and fun little action puzzle game that is sure to captivate many. I love the modernized pixelated style, and the chiptunes are downright fun. The controls are clearly designed for touch screens, and that means that this game can be played anywhere, even while you’re waiting in line at the store. I’m not a big fan of the checkpoint system, but at least the coins are plentiful and it’s not that hard to get at least 10, so it’s not a big deal.

As a fan of puzzle games, I'm enjoying Motif so far, even though I've only downloaded it this morning. I love simply designed games, and Motif falls under that category well. The gameplay is also fun and challenging, though things start out easy enough. Controls are responsive as well, so there's no issue there. I just wish more hints were available, but it's not a deal breaker. I recommend giving Motif a try if you're in the mood for a relaxing and artistic puzzler.

Overall, I'm liking Final Fantasy Dimensions II, but not sure if it's worth the high price tag compared to other Final Fantasy games on iOS. The art style is lovely, the music and sound brings back memories, and the turn-based battle system is easy to follow. I'm a bit annoyed that it takes away the free-roaming exploration aspect of the long-established franchise, as that was one of my favorite elements. Controls are simple enough for everyone to enjoy, and the character development and endings are done well. The game's all about the journey rather than the destination, and I think that's a great outlook on life in general. I may not have been on an actual road trip yet, but this game gives me a sample taste of it.

As a sucker for puzzle games, I'm really enjoying Bombarika so far. I'm not done with the game yet, since it's taking me a few tries on some stages. I played through the first chapter of FFXV Pocket Edition, and I'm getting much more enjoyment out of this than the console version so far. I wasn't expecting to like the game this much, but it's won me over with the cute and endearing, slightly deformed character models and vastly improved combat system. I've already gotten farther in just the first chapter than the console version, and that's saying something. The dialogue matching up is also impressive.

Once I started Florence, it was hard to stop. I went from knowing nothing about Florence to knowing everything about her daily life and then about her and Krish. It reminded me of my relationships, and I'll admit it — I got quite emotional. I love slice of life experiences, and Florence is definitely one you don't want to miss.

If you're craving a tough-as-nails survival adventure game, then Ashworld is going to be right up your alley. The game has great pixel graphics, the sound design is great, and the controls are highly customizable. But if you're more in the mood for a game that's relaxing, you won't find it here.

As a fan of dogs, platformers, and roguelikes, I think Dig Dog - Treasure Hunter is great. I appreciate the vintage graphics and music, and the digging mechanic is quite fun. The two game modes are enough to give players a challenging experience, or something more relaxing and calm. Even though it can be a bit repetitive, I think this is a great game to pick up when you're waiting around somewhere.

I've never played any .IO games before, but AXE.IO is a pretty fun one, I must admit. As a fan of puzzles and someone who feels like there's nothing new or interesting on the market, Lynk is like a breath of fresh air. I love the simple and clean aesthetic, and the sounds are delightful. Even though I usually like at least a little guidance when starting a game, I found Lynk to be straightforward enough without losing the player, which is nice. The puzzles themselves are challenging but not frustrating, and sometimes even make you think outside the box to solve.

As a fan of RPGs in general, I am liking Evoland 2 so far. I believe I had the original game, but didn't get around to playing it for whatever reason (this happens more often than not). Vista Golf, despite the flaws in physics, is still enjoyable and downright fun entertainment. I love the minimal graphics because they still feel elegant and look great, the music is a delight, and the controls are simple to learn. Having new courses to look forward to each week means more reason to keep playing, plus infinite mode is a great way to relax. I just hope that the physics gets refined in an update to be more accurate and predictable.

Despite the minor inconveniences, I'm enjoying It's Full of Sparks a lot. The game is downright beautiful on Retina HD and Super Retina displays. The whimsical music is great to relax to, and the controls are easy enough for anyone to learn. I always like challenging games, as it's incredibly satisfying when you manage to overcome a stage you're stuck on, and It's Full of Sparks provides just that. Hopefully the kinks get ironed out sooner rather than later.

Runic Rampage is an excellent little hack-n-slash dungeon crawler experience that's worth picking up if you're a fan. The graphics are a tad rougher than I would like, but it works out well enough. I just hope to see the addition of customizable controls in the future, as I think that would help out a lot of players.

The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is a surprisingly deep, well-presented mobile strategy game. It’s faithful to its source material, too, both in terms of the characters and locations it brings in from the existing films and the new content it adds to the canon. The game’s slow pace may prove off-putting for more casual players, but if you’ve been hankering for something approaching a real strategy experience on mobile it’s well worth a look.

Creative Destruction is a slick, polished, playable take on the battle royale genre, and if you’re tired of Fortnite and PUBG but still up for a spot of battle royale action this should fit the bill - as long as you’re not looking for something that’s radically different.

After years of playing increasingly casual, increasingly automated action-RPGs that emphasize addictive progress mechanics over everything else, it’s a real treat to see those mechanics being used to make a great arcade shooter even better. There’s not a lot to grumble about. It’s clear that a lot of love and attention has gone into everything from the finely balanced gameplay to the gorgeous Anime-style presentation, slick graphics, and thumping soundtrack.

Overall, ICEY is definitely a game that fans of the side-scrolling hack-n-slash action genre should check out. The game features amazing visual style, great sound, and the narration can be rather humorous and serious at the same time. Controls are okay, but should be fixed in the future. The key to victory in battles is dependent on your combos, so make sure to mash on those buttons and land as many hits as you can. The game says "don't think, just fight," and that's exactly what you'll want to do when robots are trying to get you.

LifeAfter is an impressive survival game that is well worth playing for fans of the likes of Minecraft or PUBG. It successfully transports these types of experiences onto mobile, though not without a certain level of oddness.
