I'm not usually a fan of these types of games, but I have actually been enjoying Mirrors of Albion HD during my time with it. I doubt I will be putting any real money into the game, but it's pretty engaging even if you don't.

It's a hilarious game that features satire (fast food corporations), vintage graphics and music, a challenge, and lots of fun. Best of all, it's free, so there's no reason not to.

The game is fairly pricey, but worth it if you are a diehard fan of strategy games.

Single player isn't fantastic, but when you have five people racing for gold, it's a lot of fun.

If you like physics-based games, this is one for the books. It is strange and interesting. The puzzles are not too difficult, but have just enough challenge to make things interesting. Pick this game up for a tongue-lashing good time.

Still, the storyline is pretty interesting and the combat system is unique, which is a plus.

I am enjoying the game so far, since I do love word games. However, I would like to hear some music or sound effects while playing or navigating in the app.

As a fan of word games, I’ve found TypeShift to be a delightful gem among the recent flood of big indie game titles on the App Store. The visuals are simple and clean, the sound effects are fun to hear, the haptic feedback is nice, and the game mechanic is different enough to stand out among the word game market.

The Little Fox by Oleg Batrakov is a twitchy hexagonal runner that offers players a different perspective on “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which is known by many as the ‘fairy tale for adults.’ If you liked games like Super Hexagon and ALONE, then you will enjoy The Little Fox.

Despite less-than-stellar controls, I recommend this game to anyone that is a fan of RPGs or classic arcade games. This is basically the Puzzle Quest version of Breakout/Arkanoid, and it's fantastic.

This is a very interesting and challenging puzzle game. It reminds me of the movie "1984" with a bit of "Brazil" thrown in.

While I still like the game, it's not perfect. The controls need a bit more work, especially having an option to directly go down platforms rather than jumping first. Oh, and strafing would be nice - currently, you can only move forward while shooting, but not shoot while moving backwards.

The controls are so simple that you could play this game with one hand tied behind your back and four fingers on your free hand broken.

If you like endless runner games, this one is a real treat. Being able to shove an innocent bystander is surprisingly satisfying when you know that no one will get hurt.

This is a fantastic game. It is even easier to play than the original board game, although the concept is the same. Think of it as a twist on solitaire, only you don't have to play this game alone.

If you're a fan of both Sonic games and jumping style games I'd recommend this one, but otherwise, save your pennies for something original.

The graphics are gorgeous, the music is charming, and the controls are easy enough for anyone to learn on the fly. If you’re a fan of puzzle platformer games in general, then Lit the Torch is one that you should check out this weekend.

This may be a casual game, but for skateboard fans it is so realistic it is almost as fun as the real thing. The best part is that you don't leave the skate park with bruises and road rash.

If you like puzzle solving and enjoy hidden object games with an adventurous flare, I'd recommend Spirit Walkers. While it is a bit short, it's thoroughly enjoyable, and achievements encourage you to play again and again.

While the game isn't perfect, it's definitely a fun addition for all Batman fans. It's a great way to kill time before the movie.

If you're a fan of the Futurama franchise, this is definitely a must-have game. If not, you might not understand many of the nuances or character interactions. The game doesn't provide any real back-story, expecting you to already know about Bender's attitude towards human women (especially Amy Wong) and why other characters behave the way they do. With that said, the game can be enjoyed even without that understanding. It's a fun game, if you're willing to invest more than just time into it. You also have to be willing to endure a lot of repetition.

The visuals are definitely appealing with the isometric voxel style, and the music is delightful. The puzzles start off easy enough, but things pick up in difficulty at a nice, gradual pace, so it’s never overwhelming. Adding a hard mode that changes everything up keeps the game interesting, and gives you brand new opportunities to beat your previous high score. I recommend giving Ellie & Max a try if you like shifting perspective puzzle games.

If you were hoping for a port of the 1982 classic arcade game, you should just walk away right now. If you are willing to accept change, or have just never heard of Zaxxon before, this is a worthy game. It looks good and is challenging and fun.
