It’s too simplistic and oftentimes annoying due to a hyperactive camera.

If you're a fan of illegal racing, or of those souped up imports from Japan, this is definitely a game you'll enjoy.

Despite good graphics and excellent sound, Rune falls short of its potential due to various flaws, glitches, and a lack of variation over the long haul. Rune is a prime example of not being able to judge a game by it's pretty exterior.

The graphics are clean, the action is fast and furious, and the gameplay is simple. Those expecting a brand new style of Blitz will be thoroughly disappointed.

It's not quite as special as the title suggests, but it has its moments.

In spite of its new content and subtle tweaks, Pirate Cove will not feel like a new game to anyone who played the original. It will feel like a mod. A clever, polished mod -- a mod that would have made a fine retail expansion pack -- but a mod nonetheless, and not worthy of its status as a full-fledged sequel.

Apart from a new trivia quiz, the collection delivers just about what you'd expect from such an anthology.

A surprisingly solid rendition of pinball that will please adults and children alike, proving games don't have to skimp on features just to appeal to younger audiences.

The storyline is weak, but the emphasis is on challenging action with little room for plot development.

Fans of the original Frogger will appreciate the basic concept of hopping around while avoiding obstacles (there are even logs to hop on) while modern gamers will get their expected dosage of objects to find and puzzles to solve.

This is a good 3-D game, but you may have trouble figuring out which way is up. Not that it matters, because you will be chased constantly and you will always be on the move.

One of the best things about this compilation is that by scoring certain amounts of points in various games, players can unlock original Activision television commercials.

The mix of DDR-style gameplay and the Olsen twins makes for a winning combination, providing enjoyable, addictive gameplay injected with the personality of Mary-Kate and Ashley.

The only real problem is that it doesn't go too far out of its way to differentiate itself from either its predecessor or any other game in the genre.

It does an admirable job of re-creating the cartoon license; infusing it with enjoyable, if repetitive beat-'em-up action.

A solid value well worth a spin. Just don't expect much more than the original titles.

It's likely that fans of the series will find The Sims: Vacation more of a luxury than a necessity.

With the two Ps, patience and practice, World Driver Championship becomes an engrossing gameplay experience unlike any other on the system. Realistic driving simulations are a world unto their own. You'll start to see white lines in your sleep.

It’s just a shame that one of your biggest opponents is the game interface itself.

Just plain old Bust-A-Move, the same Bust-A-Move that we've been playing for the last decade.

An excellent game ... if you like games with a low replay value.

The final problem, though, is the game's absurdly easy nature. It takes no time at all to expand your park to crazy dimensions, and most of the challenges are quickly dispensed with.

The game feels closest to 1980s arcade titles in terms of structure and fun.

N-Tranced will not hypnotize players with its ambitious design or extensive new features, but the quality of presentation and fast-paced arcade-style action make it easy to recommend.

Easy, but long, and it will please most fans of games like "Super Mario 64" and "Banjo-Kazookie." It looks fantastic, it's a lot of fun, and it handles superbly.

The best thing about the game is the freedom to do whatever you want.

If you're buying this game expecting something as refined and polished as one of Capcom's fighting games, you're going to be disappointed. Others looking for something new will be disappointed as well.
