Not only one of the best games that Westwood has ever created, but is easily one of the most entertaining, visceral, and tactically focused RTS products ever seen, and will likely be remembered as a true classic for years to come.- Adrenaline Vault

The various flaws (like horrible voice acting, odd attack control, and hyper-linear gameplay) keep it from earning a perfect rating. But it's a worthy successor to "Resident Evil."- Adrenaline Vault

The simple and brutal nature of Civil War combat is captured in the action that unfolds and forces players to rely on strategy and the sheer will of his units, and not high-tech weapons of devastating power.- Adrenaline Vault

The goalies are still a bit of a sore point, however, since a single defender can run the gamut from godlike to pylon within a single period with little rhyme or reason.- Adrenaline Vault

It's a fantastic game especially if you are into strategy puzzlers. Even if you’re not, it’s still a terribly addictive venture that’s easy to pick up and you’ll find yourself haunting with the best of them in no time flat.- Adrenaline Vault

MechWarrior 4 has more types of BattleMechs, missions, and weapons than MechWarrior 3; the multiplayer competition is outstanding, the artificial intelligence is improved, and the graphics are generally splendid.- Adrenaline Vault

The clear focus on fun over realism really makes this title stand out, and while the trick system may not be as deep as that of the competition, the focus on exploration and humor is a welcome alternative to hardcore combo dialing.- Adrenaline Vault

Burnout's World Tour circuit is both lengthy and addictive. However, once you've beaten all the competition, filled your garage to its fullest, and amassed a complete collection of trophies, the single-player game does lose some of its luster.- Adrenaline Vault

Real-time strategy, intense space combat, intellectual battle tactics and cooperative teamwork are all elements that play major roles in the unfolding of this experience, but it's not this combination that's so surprising; it's that they're combined so well.- Adrenaline Vault

The graphics, sound, and intelligence factors combine to make a game that will scare the hell out of you! The main problem that Quake seems to have is a lack of identity. It wants to combine "DOOM" elements with Hexen elements which creates a mish-mash effect.- Adrenaline Vault

The Chronicles of Riddick looks great, sounds great and the gameplay is a perfect amalgamation of shooting, adventure, platforming, role-playing and stealth. Though I'm certain to be crucified for my blasphemy, this variety and skillful execution makes Riddick equal to, and in some ways, superior to the single-player component found in "Halo."- Adrenaline Vault

Even though some of Ion’s design decisions, like the removal of the rope arrow and the inclusion of the third-person camera, will disappoint purists, it would be difficult for anyone to deny what a splendid experience this release is.- Adrenaline Vault

The gameplay is flawless and the presentation is both beautiful and full of character. Army of Zin is neither the most innovative title on the market nor is it the most awe-inspiring, but it accomplishes the difficult task of translating the form and spirit of a classic into a worthy modern successor.- Adrenaline Vault
