Half-Life 2: Episode One is a bit of a paradox. In terms of mechanics and content it is a yet another sequel to a well-known series that itself is in a long-established genre. On the other hand, considering how that content is delivered, both in terms of Steam and the introduction of episodic content, there is nothing exactly like Episode One on the market.- Adrenaline Vault

Playing Full Spectrum Warrior over Xbox Live can become a dangerously addictive hobby, but even without it, the game is an absolute blast. The only thing that I could have asked for is more – more tactics, more weapons, more grenades, more missions, more everything.- Adrenaline Vault

All in all, Pro Skater 4 isn't a massive leap forward for the series, but a massive and refined expansion upon its original premise.- Adrenaline Vault

The best arcade fighter on Xbox. It's not as pretty as "Dead or Alive 3," and it lacks the comic book appeal of "X-Men Next Generation," but Deadly Alliance still knocks them both flat.- Adrenaline Vault

To those willing to pay, however, the reward is one of the deepest and most exciting combat games ever. The hacking, the engineering, the raw firefights, the chaos of vehicular combat - all of these elements are but minor ingredients in the eats-like-a-meal stew that’s PlanetSide.- Adrenaline Vault

It's a drastic departure from the "MechWarrior" games, but MechAssault works perfectly as a console homage to the rich BattleTech tradition.- Adrenaline Vault

However, it is not perfect: Most notably, while fans of the original title will surely find this game enjoyable, they will also find it extremely easy to defeat, with unusually light penalties for dying.- Adrenaline Vault

Apart from striking the perfect balance between historical fact and romanticized fiction, they've managed to capture the essence of what makes the city building series fun and turn it into a game that feels almost wholly different from "Caesar III "and "Pharaoh."- Adrenaline Vault
