Not only are its production values low, but also its design decisions are questionable. None of the many highly touted injected wrinkles - the mini-games, Euphoria mode slowdown, cash purchase system, or whip-toting sidekick - have the desired positive effects on the gameplay.- Adrenaline Vault

With a little elbow grease and perhaps a dash of maturity, Postal 2 could've been a harrowing psychological tale of one man's collapsing psyche. Sort of like the movie "Falling Down" realized in an interactive 3D environment.- Adrenaline Vault

A prime example of how amazing graphics can't make up for lackluster gameplay.- Adrenaline Vault

The visuals, sound and even the gameplay itself hold potential, but almost every aspect of the latest Tomb Raider feels incomplete.- Adrenaline Vault

When you're not patiently waiting for a Diggle to finish an essential task, you've got your hands full with enough micromanagement to choke a hardcore fan of "The Sims."- Adrenaline Vault

The gameplay is often as static as its antiquated graphics, and ultimately doesn't present anything that hasn't been done before.- Adrenaline Vault

As a multimedia computer game, it's a swing and a miss. Players will likely give this title only a few chances before putting it back on the shelf due to its static presentation, limited gameplay, and painfully annoying animated host.- Adrenaline Vault

The offering boasts masterful artistic design and a beautiful score, but fails in the most important aspect - gameplay.- Adrenaline Vault

To paraphrase a writer from "Mystery Science Theater 3000," this game hurt me.- Adrenaline Vault

For anyone new to the genre, this isn’t the best place to start due to the technical flaws and PvP griefing. Even veterans of the online role-playing genre will find the many errors impeding their fun.- Adrenaline Vault

Due to severe problems in graphics and gameplay, this title cannot hold a candle to "RollerCoaster Tycoon," still firmly at the head of the class.- Adrenaline Vault

Far from being a cranium-stretching taut and suspenseful Sherlock Holmes mystery, this release falls flat in almost every dimension of its design and execution.- Adrenaline Vault

Had the absurdity of the setting been more efficiently exploited for humor value, the many shortcomings might be more easily overlooked. As it stands, this title comes across as a last minute, off-the-cuff port from consoles to PC that skimped as often as possible.- Adrenaline Vault

Its logic flaws and thoroughly vexatious difficulty are so omnipresent that any gains made via technology are completely overshadowed. In trying to mix strategy with action, a sense of identity got lost in translation.- Adrenaline Vault

Drop dead tedious as a construction simulation, limited and rigid as a business management experience, and ridiculously uninteresting as a people-watching escapade.- Adrenaline Vault

The foul language, twisted humor, nudity, gore and violence are beyond what most gamers will appreciate, unless "Postal" is your idea of fun. When compounded by the obscure hotspots, redundant puzzles, archaic control system and strictly linear gameplay, the audience for which this offering would be a treat becomes really small.- Adrenaline Vault

While a good story can sometimes save even the most mediocre of RPGs, and The Legend of Alon D'ar does provide a compelling beginning and plot, the pacing is so slow that only the most patient will make it through to the end.- Adrenaline Vault
