Rocksteady Studios damn-nearly astonished us with this one. We expected it to be a decent summer action game. In all fairness, we never expected it to be this much fun. Batman: Arkham Asylum outshines every game we've seen this year (so far).- ActionTrip

The noticeably well-conceived single-player, intense boss fights and a solid multiplayer keep this one in tact. Otherwise it's the usual action you can get from most FPS titles.- ActionTrip

Amidst all the generic shooters, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a great relief and offers a surprisingly convincing depiction of the Civil War era, coupled with satisfying gameplay.- ActionTrip

That doesn't mean you won't have some fun if you take the time to learn how each robot operates and in time you should get a kick out of the multiplayer. We regret the developers didn't iron out some of the technical issues, which often ruin the experience throughout the single-player campaign.- ActionTrip

This game brings no improvements whatsoever over its predecessor. In fact, none of the humor and delightful characters in it cannot divert our belief that this game spoiled a once fun and inventive franchise.- ActionTrip

Choosing one of the original Ghosbusters while taking out ghosts in co-op - now that's the stuff. The sad part is that you cannot enjoy the main campaign in co-op.- ActionTrip

Prototype easily stomps over numerous boring movie-based action games we've seen lately and effectively covers all the necessary themes to engulf gamers in a relatively interesting horror/sci-fi story.- ActionTrip

If a decent, demolition-oriented action game is what you seek, chances are you won't be disappointed with this game. Don't expect much beyond that.- ActionTrip

Ultimately, if you liked the previous Sims games, you will like The Sims 3. If the series has never floated your boat, there is nothing here that will make convert you the fan camp.- ActionTrip

Guys, I'll be honest with you here. I really gave my best shot at finding some redeeming feature in Damnation. Truth be told, you couldn't find such a feature if you spent several days playing this tragedy of a game. And if you do take it upon yourself to play it for more than one day, I fear for your sanity.- ActionTrip

It's short. Shorter than any other game we've played this year or indeed the previous year. It's over before you can say: "endoskeleton." Not only that, but it lacks replayability and anything that would drag you back for another round. There's a co-op option, but it suffers the same, degrading facets that can be experienced in solo play.- ActionTrip

We regret the developers didn't devote more attention to this game. The gameplay is flawed, though it does have some potential and relatively entertaining combat.- ActionTrip

Upgrading the main character, using diverse skills and fighting abilities, coupled with a range of impressive execution moves, make for an exciting combat system.- ActionTrip

For players looking for some challenging strategy with an RPG skill system that allows the player to tailor the game to their play style, will find a fun and affordable game with Demigod. Just make sure you understand what kind of game you are buying and you won't be disappointed.- ActionTrip

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena doesn't know what it's supposed to be. It shifts from being an intense, yet frustrating shooter, to a buggish sneaker. Starbreeze didn't make the most out of this recipe. There's so much wasted potential- ActionTrip

EA had a chance to deliver a really cool game and to improve upon the sequel. They seemed to have failed on both fronts.- ActionTrip

The game packs an engaging multiplayer mode, but seeing as you won't spend more than a couple of hours with the clearly meager single-player campaigns, it really doesn't deserve your attention; nor does it justify the slightly steep price tag ($30).- ActionTrip

In light of the game's ambitiously advertised, but ultimately disastrous technology, one has to wonder just how many hours were actually spent on testing this shambles of a game.- ActionTrip

It can be completed in less than six hours and that's even if you do your best to find all the poorly hidden paper slips that unlock the development team's concept art and such (yaay!).- ActionTrip

Resident Evil 5 has some of the most impressive character models we've ever seen in a video game. Some of the indoor and outdoor environments are literarily stunning - our compliments to the designers in that respect.- ActionTrip

For some reason though, it doesn't quite push the envelope in terms of gameplay and it does feel slightly less entertaining than, say, Ace Combat 6. It does, however, stand as one of the best-looking aerial combat games on the market and we do recommend you give it a whirl.- ActionTrip

This title restored our faith in the genre and it rises high above the competition. Capcom deserves credit for this one. It's been a long time since we felt this kind of vibe and the best part is, it's a good slice of gaming even for those who are unfamiliar with previous releases.- ActionTrip

Considering Monolith's track record, this isn't really much of an accomplishment. The concept behind F.E.A.R. leaves plenty of room for improvement and this sequel doesn't strive to achieve any breakthroughs in that respect.- ActionTrip
