The real problem here is that unchallenging puzzles, certain technical glitches, and somewhat tedious gameplay may even turn away bona fide aficionados of the genre, and, sadly, dishearten even the most devoted of fans with a rather disappointing and frustrating ending. And there's just no excuse for that.- ActionTrip

Not only is the game easy and uninventive, but it also has few units, a poor AI, and happens to be one of the least stable games I played in a long time.- ActionTrip

A sloppy console port... To top all the negative aspects, the game is rather short and, quite frankly, hardly worth its current $30 price tag.- ActionTrip

We've tried to have fun with this game and it ended up biting us in the ass... several times. Even with its truly gorgeous graphics and highly detailed tracks, in addition to a kick-ass soundtrack, the game won't keep you occupied for long. Moments of sheer entertainment are all-too-brief and are quickly overshadowed by frustration.- ActionTrip

There is also one major thing that literally butchers gameplay; in Platoon, your soldiers will not respond to enemy fire even if the enemy is standing three feet behind them and firing. To make your men return fire, you first have to “tell them” to turn around.- ActionTrip

In its effort to provide a mix of simulation style flying challenges and an arcade-based aerial combat game, the developers failed on both fronts.- ActionTrip

Unfortunately, the fact that it is a PSX port and that it doesn't bring anything remotely new into the genre is a good enough reason for it not to score well. Add to that the monotonous dinos and B-Movie voice acting, and my decision not to score it well is even more justified.- ActionTrip

The game does have some grittiness to it, but it seems to be geared more towards teenagers who would feel better about themselves playing a mature game, than it is towards mature gamers who are looking to get a little depth to go with the arcade action.- ActionTrip

The game is challenging enough to make you play for a few hours, but it seems that some slip-ups in overall design have easily diminished all hopes of undertaking a highly immersive and profound space adventure. If it weren't for the technical mishaps and awkward gameplay mechanics, this game would've been a worthy addition to the Star Trek universe.- ActionTrip

At least this last one carries a message, albeit hidden underneath a layer of stupid and unimaginative game designing concepts, which do not have so much to do with the developers themselves as they have to do with the hot-shot companies looking to cash in on the whole Blair Witch hoopla.- ActionTrip

The remake to one of my favorite games of all times brings some colorful characterization and narrative, along with great voice acting and flashy particle effects, but it fails to sufficiently advance the original's simplistic gameplay.- ActionTrip

It can be completed in less than six hours and that's even if you do your best to find all the poorly hidden paper slips that unlock the development team's concept art and such (yaay!).- ActionTrip

Is Homefront: The Revolution the worst thing I have ever played? No, in fact it was far from it. However, the fact still remains that the end product is a mediocre interpretation of what could have been, and by all accounts should have been, something far more enjoyable.- ActionTrip

What can I tell you about the AI? It's UNBELIEVABLY scripted. It's so scripted it's not even funny.- ActionTrip

It took me less than two days to complete the single-player campaign and unlock all of the vehicles. After that, the game pretty much becomes a drag, since there will be no further challenges for the player and given that the game's graphics are not all that impressive either, there's nothing left to draw you back into that "fast and furious" racing atmosphere.- ActionTrip

Despite the fact that this dish spent a bit too much time in the oven to begin with, it still managed to hit the market as a half backed product.- ActionTrip

Short is never good, no matter which context you put it in. And this game is short. It's penis-envy short. It's the shortest single-player FPS game I've ever played. A four hour gameplay experience for a retail product is like a 20 second sexual intercourse. It just doesn't feel right, and you feel cheated.- ActionTrip

As a nice little freebee to include with the Dead Island Definitive Edition, this is a perfectly fine add-in. Please just whatever you do, don’t buy this at retail. They are giving it away for a good reason.- ActionTrip

It’s a fun distraction for the short term but unless this is the kind of meal you’d like to eat three times a day for the next twenty five years, you are going to find yourself not quite sated by what The Crew has to offer.- ActionTrip

Even though Catwoman offers a feisty and stylish superheroine, some neatly designed platform puzzles, coupled with fluid animation and fighting action, the game ultimately takes a nosedive by making the very thing it focuses on the most frustrating to the point of wanting to strangle small kittens. And it does so by basically not taking extra care of the camera, controls and other important design aspects that would've made the game play a lot more enjoyable.- ActionTrip

Much to our chagrin, EA Sports has once again proven that they can’t make a quality basketball game. Like the Toronto Raptors, it is hard not to speculate how much more of a beating NBA Live can take before they just throw in the towel permanently.- ActionTrip

A game meant for gamers who are a bit younger and who enjoy cute sarcastic babes for main characters. So, it all boils down to jumping around bashing recurring enemies with your staff and listening to your un-witty sidekick.- ActionTrip

I’ve played a lot of decent horror games and out of all of the classics like Resident Evil, Silent Hill and the more recent ones like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Outlast, I just cannot seem to find a place in my heart or in my brain for The Evil Within. It’s not worthy to tackle any of the aforesaid games. Not on any level.- ActionTrip
