All football games will always suffer from Pro Evolution comparisons. World Tour Soccer 2 is a good attempt at a slightly alternative football title, but as all of us footie fans know too well, form is temporary, class is permanent.

Crusty Demons will definitely appeal to the beer-chugging frat boy side of your brain far more than the serious cycle sim side, but that's a good thing in this case. The super stupid excellence here does have a few flaws, but this is the sort of game that does extremely well the less you rationalize it as some sort of earth-moving gameplay experience.

It's unfortunate that the handwriting recognition portion of the touch-screen controls is largely broken (thank goodness it's optional!) and the presentation is as bland as can be, featuring only three generic background color choices and music tracks each, but even so, Sudoku Gridmaster offers a ton of content and just enough addictive gameplay to make any sudoku fan smile with glee.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja is a very amusing game - the only problem is that the amusement doesn't last for a very long time at all.

A good game, but not a great game. If this had been released three of four years ago it would have been heralded as a real contender for PC game of the year. However, as times have moved on and 3D RPGs such as Oblivion have taken the gaming world by storm, top-down RPGs like Titan Quest were always going to suffer.

An enjoyable conversion. Going through tombs and solving puzzles on the move is excellent fun, while the multiplayer time trials that have you running and gunning for the fastest time are a great little bonus for those after this handheld version.

The realism is uncanny and I've grown to love the realistic gameplay, graphics and sound. However, the game could have done with a mode to suit causal players too - a mode that allows you to define the exact number of laps and the exact number of racers, amongst other things.

Between the boring combat and characters that never quite connect, it is difficult to keep playing after a while, without setting the game aside for something more interesting.

What's great about Break 'Em All is that it's one of those fun titles that you can take with you anywhere and play through without worrying about rushing through it too quickly.

Despite the relative shortness of the single player mode, I can't recommend Urban Chaos: Riot Response enough.

So, if you fancy six classic games with arcade tweaks included, six pieces of time, six morsels of gaming history, then look no further than Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.

Point Blank DS's only minor drawback is that its play modes are all essentially the same thing hidden behind different premises that really aren't any different and because of this the gameplay doesn't hold up for extended play sessions.

Gradius Collection ranks high in the upper echelon of classic game compilations, featuring five exceptional shooters that will have you hooked from beginning to end and beyond, all for less than a standalone full-priced PSP title. Cars is simply a small collection of novelty mini-games with few redeeming features, other than making good use of all the characters from the film.

Sure, the hardcore Burnout and Gran Turismo fans will find this game laughably easy, but for a few hours of harmless and comical entertainment, you can't go wrong driving Cars!

If I've come off as very sarcastic in this review, it's simply because, compared to Brain Training, the game is mostly boring and I was amusing myself at its expense to keep myself sane.

It not only makes for a perfect introduction to the genre for those curious few yet to sample a taste of Sim City, as well as providing some more meatier challenges for the experienced simmer. Combine this with the incredibly detailed, smooth and well-conceived graphics and the discrete sound and music, and you have a game that's pretty much a must have.

While it can occasionally feel as though this episode is merely testing to see how well you've remembered how to fight the Combine, for the most part it's a non stop thrill ride through some best bits of the both Half-Life games, with the added inclusion of some incredibly smart AI companionship.
