The fighting system lifts elements from all the right games and the new PSP style level selection helps stave off some of the monotony that curtailed the fun of the PS2 version.

A good platform game and for a licensed game it's great; if you miss the glory days of jump puzzles then it's worth checking out, and if you love Kim Possible then it's an easy recommendation for a youngster... or yourself!

For this price and this level of quality, it is an absolute bargain - it isn't one of the very best PSP games, but it's not far off either. It does an excellent job of being many things at once - a movie tie-in, fighting game, mission-based open exploration game and more. And it provides compelling gameplay throughout.

Block Block may be shaky, but the three Buster Bros. titles are more than solid and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a prime cut of grade-A puzzle action.

The controls are a problem, but if you can persevere with them there's an excellent game waiting to be enjoyed - and one where the only minimal thing is the number of degrees you are from reality.

Those who have laptops and not a lot of time to invest into virtual lifestyles should definitely check this out - with easy to use controls, a more causal gameplay style in the sense that it doesn't take all day to refresh your Sims and teach them new skills, and two stories to play through, The Sims Life Stories is an interesting experiment that ticks the right boxes for the right kind of people.

Just as soon as I was ready to sing the praises of the game from my rooftop did the debilitating graphical and gameplay flaws begin to rain down on my happy-go-lucky concert, soaking down my scores.

Though it plays second fiddle to its old rival, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing shows that there is still a place in the gaming world for kart-driving monkeys, plane-flying turtles and hovercraft-steering tigers.

Despite some bugs, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes still remains instantly accessible for those with some patience, and you will need a great deal of patience, because although WoW showed everyone how fun MMORPGs can be once you design them to be accessible to all, Vanguard is a game geared towards the hardcore players who crave more of a challenge.

It's a slow paced game, so those who shy away from games like chess will probably want to turn a blind eye, but anybody with an ounce of patience and a lust for either piloting a plane, commanding a ship or steering a submarine should sail down to their local game shop and pick up a copy!

It's the online play that sets Fuzion Frenzy 2 apart from its peers, while the rest of the package simply does its job without ever excelling.

With presentation that's lacking flair, no tournament options, sub-standard opponent AI, no rule variations other than 8 or 9 ball pool and limited stimuli to continue playing, Frontline Studios appear to have just gone through the motions with Actua Pool.

Europa Universalis III is a game for those of you who love complicated micromanagement, for those who feel that the likes of Civilization lack depth and realism, and who want to be in complete control of their nation.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is, all around, a stroke of genius. The dialogue is great, the storyline will pull you in and grab hold, the graphical presentation is simply phenomenal and the puzzles are a joy to solve, if a little easy and linear.

Everything is new again, it's exciting to discover new areas and exhilarating to conquer new dungeons, and given that Blizzard have already confirmed an expansion every year (quite a lofty goal to set after the delays for this one) there's already an excitement about what they'll include in future updates.

With over 200 microgames at the helm and mulitplayer support for up to twelve players with only one Wiimote, this is by far the most complete WarioWare package yet. In fact, if Smooth Moves doesn't get you hot and sweaty like Wario's pitts on a humid summer's day then you clearly hate games, are a Daily Mail reader and/or Jack Thompson is your God.

There's a bit of untapped potential in certain areas, and the gameplay doesn't quite take that resounding next-gen leap forward that I'm still waiting for, but even with that being the case, I'm hard pressed to come up with any other 360 game that looks better or is as altogether riveting as the gameplay experience found in Lost Planet (well, except for "Ghost Recon" that is).
