AceGamezThe fighting system lifts elements from all the right games and the new PSP style level selection helps stave off some of the monotony that curtailed the fun of the PS2 version.
-
It's neither as deep nor as satisfying as any of the games it bites the style from, but it doesn't do them such a disservice that the game is rendered painful either. It's just sort of... there, existing without doing much to give pause or reason to like it.
-
Sadly, like most other movie tie-ins, this is marketed at fans of the film, not at gamers, and like Johnny Blaze himself, the whole thing feels a bit soulless. If only it also had the same level of flair.
-
Feel free to stick with the good action games, and leave Ghost Rider to his burning fate.
-
While it does steal from some truly spectacular action games, somehow the action really doesn’t take off in this repetitive, bland action game. Even if you’re a fan of the comic, do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.
-
Metaphorically, it's like buying a CD only to find out it has one decent song on it.
-
The game also settles into a rut: Clear an area of demons, advance, clear a room of demons, repeat. There's little strategy.
