NBA Street: Homecourt isn't quite the show stopper I thought it would be, but it's hardly a disappointment either.

However, if you simply wish to play an engrossing and hair raising thrill ride in the skies, you'd be much better off queuing up on the aircraft carriers in Battlefield 1943 for your chance to fly a plane for 30 seconds.

There're no stunning next-gen visuals to be found, and it doesn't help that it has such strong competition to live up to from its own predecessors.

Graphically it's a huge step up not only from GT4 but from every racing game (and indeed most games) that we've seen so far, and I'm sure it'll look even better in the full game.

My advice is to stick to a console version unless you really want an SNK game for the road, as there are several better choices for a fighting title on GBA than this.

Will you come back if Techland make a threequel?
