This is a commendable little puzzler. But unfortunately the PS4-version suffers from constant framerate issues.

It starts as an ambitious roleplaying game drawing me in with its’ opening sequence and fresh scenario. The battle system works well, so does the crafting. But too soon the plot loses its grip, the characters get stale and overall the visuals seem outdated.

WarCraft 3 definitely deserves better. The “revamped re-imagination" is disappointing.

A cynical view on school systems that suffers from poor playability.

As a multiplayer shooter, this would be merely below average. But as part of the consistent online universe that is EVE it delivers an interesting twist, that made me look beyond the parts that hold Dust back.

Even though it carries a venerable name and promotes hardcore mechanics Wizardry Online is just a very ordinary frumpy roleplaying game.

While the mech construction is almost decent the action is far from it. Visually and mechanically this is bottom tier.

It starts strong but then the fascination fades away fast. This Wannabe-Journey for most of the time is nothing more than a boring platformer.

With its permadeath concept Necropolis is able to generate tension, while each fight could be your last. But progress is limited, regardless if you’re playing alone or cooperatively, so after a few hours it slowly becomes hard work.

Entertaining arcade-surfing with beautiful locations that lacks gameplay variety.

Make no mistake: This is still better than Rebirth. Having said that, Foundation not only is flawed in so many areas, but also is light years away from the series former glory and definitely not a game to shorten the waiting time for Star Citizen...

Mythic said they want to treat the source with respect. They said, that the ultimate rpg series returns. But is is a slap in the face at the latest when you are invited to watch a trailer for FIFA. The paywall come later and are not as evident as in Dungeon Keeper, but nonetheless this is fantasy fastfood that result in aversion instead of immersion.

Good ideas, frustrating result. While the concept is ambitious, the clumsy controls ruin the fun.

Although the concept of Koeis musou action works with the heroes of Utawarerumono the scuffproof mechanics feel unsophisticated and rather unspectacular.

In terms of design this is pixelart at its finest. But when you look behind the pretty facade the mechanics are not as refined and remain mainly superficial.

Just as on Xbox One as a rail shooter Blue Estate is not as bad as feared. But it is also very old school and way too easy thanks to the uber-accurate mouse control.

The arcade dogfights deliver quite a punch, the mission design is simple, but effective. It reminds me a little of Crimson Skies, although it never even remotely reaches its brilliance.

The concept might seem interesting, but poor visuals, poor driving physics and the totally incoherent co-driver make sure that this works neither as a rallye game nor a GPS racing simulator.

It starts strong, then it deteriorates and all of a sudden it is over. While the audiovisual presentation is classy the content is too thin.

No multiplayer, but a multitude of point- and currency-systems. Even though you can unlock a lot for free, the finance model takes a toll on the game design – too much to make this an entertaining party game.

Yes, it is short. And it takes the by now well-known Telltale stencil and imposes it on our most favorite building block game. But the result is what the once announced “Adventure mode” in Minecraft promised: a big fantasy adventure with humor, suspense and real heroes.

At its content core, this a beautiful conversion of a very polarizing game. But with more technical problems than expected for the first time this game also feels very old.

With its focus on lackluster hack&slay fights and an interesting but totally underutilized narrative Gladiolus’ solo adventure doesn’t seem to fit into the big FF15 picture.

The narrative foundation sounds terrifyingly interesting, but you'll soon find out that as a character Lucius is disappointing. You'll encounter interesting puzzles on your way, but overall this adventure lacks pace and soul.
