GTFO delivers an outstanding co-op experience where players feel naturally inclined to sync up their hits, share their resources and discuss tactics. It's cruel, it's hardcore, but ultimately it's a fun game set on an unique universe.

Expeditions: Rome has absolutely everything a good RPG needs to succeed. His narrative, rhythmic and interesting as if it were the best Rome’s Empire novel, immerses you fully in his story. Thanks to the system of morality of our companions and their different paths to travel, every decision matters. Turn-based combat is vibrant, vertical, and challenging, while camp and resource management, as well as the crafting system for new equipment, ensure that time flies. As the only 'but', it would have been appreciated if the battles with the legion were somewhat less predictable. An excellent game for RPG and History lovers. [Recommended]

Windjammers 2 is a simplistic but functional revival of an arcade classic from Neo Geo. Works and it's worth it if you want a simple sequel from the classic from Data East, but the scene of players who still enjoy the classic one deserves more enthusiasm than this.

Rainbow Six: Extraction is a fun co-op shooter for those willing to push themselves without entering the realm of frustration. Ubisoft made sure it's as accessible as possible, so it's really easy to form a fireteam across platforms and get to work. Replayable and interesting. [Recommended]

Loop Hero looks simple, but as you play more, more enjoy this great RPG. This is one of the best video games of the year, and is perfect to play with portable mode's Nintendo Switch. [Recommended]

After the Fall is an entertaining and frenetic multiplayer VR FPS. Killing waves of the Infected is a real pleasure thanks to its different levels of difficulty that ensure the acquisition of more rare equipment. The cross-game between virtual reality platforms, as well as its accessibility options with automatic or manual recharge, or in a cooperative experience suitable for all types of users. Despite not having more than five scenarios in PvE and two in competitive, it is a title that you can go to on a recurring basis. After the Fall is one of those great titles that justifies buying a virtual reality glasses. [Recommended]

I can not find anything to reproach this port of God of War to PC. The masterpiece that was in 2018 is still valid today. The adaptation of its controls to the keyboard and mouse makes you forget the remote control after a few minutes of play. Thanks to the use of NVIDIA DLSS 2.0, those who have compatible cards can enjoy the title at 4K, 60 images per second, HDR and ultra graphics, having a complete next-generation experience. An essential in any PC library. [Recommended]

Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo is a good reimagining of the 1958 celluloid classic. Packed with script twists and turns and creating a completely new story on the basis of the original, it can be blamed for at times extending longer than it should by discovering thus its weak points in the plot. Playable is scarce, it could well have the same plot and dialogues taken to the cinema or television and the result would have been the same. Artistically, it hits the ground running because of the modeling of the characters' faces and highly improvable facial animations. A narrative adventure that can please those looking only for a good plot that comes completely dubbed into Spanish.

With everything explained in this analysis, you get a good idea of what Aeterna Noctis is, a demanding 2D metroidvania, tremendously imaginative in each and every one of its levels and exploration mechanics that perhaps lacks a little more punch in it. separated from combat. However, it is a beautiful work, with an artistic and sound section that seduces from the first minutes. A game that manages to surprise from its beginning to its very end. Aeterna Noctis is the perfect closure for 2021, an essential title for lovers of the genre. [Recommended]

Halo Infinite is an absolute delight of a first person shooter, and king in the sandbox field. The shaping of human, believable characters is something you can take for granted with 343 Industries in charge too. The one thing that's missing here is the courage to do something beyond replicating what best defines this IP —that being imaginative, immersive levels [Recommended].

That Beyond a Steel Sky is coming to consoles after its release last year on PC is good news. The less positive points like the simplified chat system are still there. However, the simplicity of its control, the good use of the track system, and the graphic modes available in the reviewed version of PS5 make it a title to take into account within the current scenario.

MXGP 2021 is an interesting hybrid that combines arcade driving with simulation within a complex sport to reproduce at the controls under the same proposal. However, its physics system is capable of the best and the worst at the same time, with a number of game modes that are stuck in the past. MXGP 2021 needs to take real-time terrain variations more seriously, improve its career mode and make Playground a really attractive offering if it wants to take a step forward as a franchise.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water is a title that, at the time of its release, could already be considered outdated by market trends. However, that is where its charm lies, in maintaining a formula that has worked since its inception on PS2 and exposing Japanese terror as very few have achieved within the video game. This relaunch brings with it a handful of additions such as improving its rate of images per second, reducing loading times, new aesthetic content or the inclusion of photo mode. Although the original experience, hand in hand with the Wii U GamePad, is unrepeatable, the version analyzed on PS5 manages to correctly adapt its mechanics. Without a doubt, a game more than necessary for horror lovers. [Recommended]

Inscryption is a card game and more than just a card game. One in which the cards talk, complain and give you clues. No, I don't mean the next move, but clues to solve a larger puzzle that makes up its mysterious story, full of puzzles and meta-narrative uses of video game language. [Recommended].

One could say New World is basic. And it definitely has some weird design choices scattered around progression, economy and world. There’s the graphics card issue too. And yet, something as simple as existing in Aeternum is fun and amazing: loved the aesthetics, the sounds, the animations, the combat, the progression. An experience too appealing to ignore.

Disciples: Liberation is a tactical RPG in which you will have to make many decisions that will lead to different endings. However, and despite being a very complete game in terms of mechanics and details, with a good number of dialogue options, its long duration ends up taking its toll. The overexposure of its mechanics of alliances with the different factions of the game and, above all, the little challenge that its fights end up supplying as soon as you focus on doing something other than its main campaign, weigh down too much the experience of a title that goes from more or less. It would be a total recommendation if they had focused more on creating a tactical challenge to match and less on filling in hours of gameplay in missions that often appear little contextualized for what CRPG lovers demand.
