A magnificent remake of one of the best adventure puzzle games ever. [Recommended]

Crysis 2 is a great game, a superb example of singleplayer gaming with an enjoyable multiplayer, but it's a little hard to justify as a continuation of the superb first iteration in the Crysis series.

Sucker Punch has perfectly understood what it means to make a sequel: not to expand for the sake of expanding, but rather to take a step forward in what the Ghost franchise needed. It's still a game where feeling like a samurai is at the heart of everything, where walking through open fields with the wind hitting your face is almost as important as wielding a katana, but now it's accompanied by a more personal and human narrative. I've encountered characters that matter, moments that matter, and combat that, while familiar, gains freshness thanks to the variety of weapons and a more self-aware design. It may not be as visually striking as Tsushima, but there's no doubt that it's still a pictorial marvel. Not all of the side content is interesting, but there's been a noticeable improvement, especially in the character, master, and legend quests. And yes, it's another revenge story, but Atsu manages to make the journey worthwhile. [Recommended]

The surprise factor of the first Modern Warfare is missing and the PC version is by far the worst in the PS3, X360 and PC trio. This new Call of Duty iteration exceeds every expectation with its off-line mode, but loses its place among the best shooters of this year because of its poorly designed and badly executed multiplayer.

Mortal Kombat is here. Its gameplay system can satisfy all kinds of gamers and the game offers tons of variety and hidden extras. It's really a return to form for the franchise.

Brothers is a beautiful tale of love and loss, a great way to kick off the Summer of Arcade.

Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition is an opportunity to discover one of the best 2D fighting arcade games. The title retains the same gameplay and original charm.

Many years have passed, but FFXII is still one of the biggest JRPG we have played, and that's very important to understand why this remastered version is a must for Final Fantasy fans who couldn't play the game before. Better graphics, smoother gameplay and other additions rebuild an old but powerful fantasy.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is so good that you shouldn't let it go. It's an amazing piece of work to honor one of the best strategy game series ever.

CrossCode is a great action RPG with the soul of games in the 90s, like Chrono Trigger or The Legend of Zelda. It has funny real time combats and clever puzzles, but story is not very original.

Arc Raiders achieves precisely what the extraction formula has been missing: approachability. It's a world that's appealing on its own for pretty much anyone —immersive, tactile, suggestive. It just happens to have an extraction mechanic and progression system on top of it. The game nails these features too. Loot and gear is easy to understand, hard to earn. Figuring out the PvE mobs can be tricky but also fresh and rewarding. There's plenty of both friend and foe depending on your personal preference, and the rewards for leveling up and investing resources are all satisfactory. Great game overall. [Recommended]

A superb follow up of the classic Rayman Jungle Run iOS and Android platform adventure. Delightful 2D gameplay.

Another great example of Tower Defense gameplay designed for iOS devices. Lacks innovation, that´s for sure, but nonetheless it´s a must-have game.

An incredible narrative experience that you want to play one and another time. Disco Elysium The Final Cut in console is a great RPG, but it needs a few improvements and fixes the bugs.

Ninja Theory's vision of the Devil May Cry series is a great Hack and Slash. Maybe Dante looks different now, but his killing abilities and bad-ass attitude remain the same.

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future offers the same great experience from the last games. A must-have for Layton fans.

A fantastic 2D platform adventure game plenty of levels, secrets, collectibles and excellent level design.

Another outstanding iOS and Android port of one of the best Dragon Quest entries. Fans of the JRPG will rejoice.

Stage cleared. Sonic Mania recovers the 2D essence of Sonic the Hedgehog. From fans for fans, it's a great and interesting job to demonstrate that the platformer formula is still gorgeous, although the years have passed.

The Overlord Pack for Mass Effect 2 is well spent money and a nice second add-on for Mass Effect 2. A couple hours of varied gameplay.

Clever and surprising. Pony Island is a great puzzle game with an amazing capacity to let you without words.

Diablo III is a great game. This action-RPG game from Blizzard works perfectly on consoles thanks to a good control system, a redesigned interface, and a fun co-op local multiplayer. It's an amazing experience.
