Gameloft did just right with Let's Golf! 2. They gave the game more international flavor, more colorful characters, and improved game play, all while maintaining everything that made the first Let's Golf! so great. Let's Golf! 2 is an amazing game that any fan of casual sports games should pick up.

Reckless Racing 2 improves on all of the original game's features and adds several more goodies such as career mode and car customization. This all combines to make it the best "rubbin's racin'" game on the App Store.

Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition is a deeply satisfying game that takes all of the best elements from some of the greatest strategy games out there and combines them in unexpected and fantastic ways. It may not always be the easiest game to navigate, but the payoff is 100% worth it. The amount of depth and replayability here all but guarantees it’s a game you’ll want to keep on your phone or tablet for a long, long time.

On its face, Flipping Legend is a pretty light game that doesn't look like it has much to it. Once you get your hands on it though, the game ends up feeling like a lot more than that. It's got a great core mechanic, a solid amount of variety, and some amazing detail work. Flipping Legend may be an arcade-style phone game, but it is a truly excellent one of those.

A Normal Lost Phone may not be the longest or most mechanically dense game out there, but I enjoyed every moment I spent with it. It's writing and story are so well presented that your phone snooping feels incredibly real and personal. It's a level of intimacy that most other video games completely fail to capture, which just goes to show how special A Normal Lost Phone is.

This World of Warcraft CCG spin-off is easy to pick up, almost impossible to put down, and most amazingly of all, totally free. Consider this your only warning.

Espgaluda II is a beautiful, well-developed port for the iPhone and the best 2D vertical shooter I've ever played. It's breathed new life into a stale, complacent genre and raised the bar for other 2D scrolling shooter developers.

Inside is a richly detailed game that rewards players constantly, but in subtle ways. As such, it maybe doesn’t lend itself to mobile all too well, but can still pack a heck of a punch if you play it in the right conditions.

MOBAs aren't easy to get into, but League of Legends: Wild Rift makes it easier than it's ever been. Riot Games somehow managed to make its flagship game streamlined and accessible all while maintaining the depth and nuance that keeps League of Legends matches interesting even after hundreds of hours of playing. Even without the full cast or a breadth of modes, Wild Rift is clearly the new king of mobile MOBAs.

Year Walk is a fantastic experience that’s going to stick with me for a while. It’s haunting, mysterious, and is a must-play for those willing to stomach the dark tale it weaves. This is Simogo’s magnum opus.

Juicy Realm is an incredibly varied and satisfying run-based shooter that controls well using touch and controllers. There's never a dull moment when playing, and you always have new things to look forward to when starting a new game. Don't pass this game up. It's one of the finest mobile shooters I've played in a long time.

Say No! More is a lovely game that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, even though it's all about telling people no. The message it shares is a valuable one to keep in mind now more than ever, and I'm so glad it's available on such a convenient platform so that everyone can enjoy it.

Top to bottom, Motorsport Manager Mobile 2 is a better than the great game that came before it. It's elegant, smart, difficult, and supremely satisfying, regardless of whether or not you are a racing enthusiast. It is certainly the leader of the pack when it comes to management sims on mobile. Don't let this one pass you by.

BackFire’s difficulty curve might make you hate it at times, but its design is fair enough that you’re always jumping back in to see if you can best it. What helps is that the game has an ingenious upgrade system that always lets you make progress, even if you’re just banging your head against a level repeatedly. Oh, and I almost forgot the best part: all of this feels completely intuitive and easy-to-control on a touch screen. Do yourself a favor and get BackFire. It’s one of the best arena shooters available on the App Store.

Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale is simply an exquisite package. It is a well considered and significant evolution of Meteorfall: Journey and then some.
