I don’t love Reigns or Game of Thrones all that much at this point, but Reigns: Game of Thrones combines the two properties in a way that—though simple—is surprisingly enjoyable. It’s fun to feel like you’re in control of Westeros, even if it’s only for a little bit before you meet some terrible demise. There’s enough clever things that Nerial does with George R.R. Martin’s fantasy universe that makes Reigns: Game of Thrones worth checking out if you have any affinity for the show or books.

A mixture of imaginative design and traditional twin-stick shooting, Second Chance Heroes is an enjoyable romp indeed.

There’s a fair amount of stuff to fight through in Immortal Rogue before it gets enjoyable, but it’s all worth it. Despite a few rough edges, the action offered here is worth investing time in, as it grants some very interesting and satisfying rewards that transform it from rote brawler into a varied action roguelite with huge replay value.

Great voice-acting, interesting gameplay, and top-notch animations set Detective Grimoire apart from the masses in a fantastic crime-solving adventure.

By combining math and more traditional collectible card game mechanics, Calculords has stumbled upon a winning formula.

Hot Springs Story isn't quite as gripping as Game Dev Story. Its subject matter being not quite as clearly enjoyable as the earlier game, plus it's really quite a serious sim, with no sign of the humor of Game Dev Story. However, in turn it's a deeper experience with more to it. This ensures that Hot Springs Story is still a great game to play, just not quite as wondrous as its predecessor.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit HD will be quite an epic experience for anyone who enjoys this older style of RPG. The storyline is interesting, combat system is complex and enjoyable, and the graphics and music fit this type of game well.

Lara Croft GO embraces what worked so well for Hitman GO and adds everyone's favorite Tomb Raider.

A clever, beautiful, vibrant game that will tickle your visual-auditory fancy. Its sublime levels, decorated with rich, textured art and graphics and polished, engrossing game play will entice you into playing over and again.

The (in my opinion) over-priced card packs available through in-app purchases feel like a slap in the face, especially after already paying $5 for the game proper, but what can be bought can also be earned. And earning it, battle to battle, victory to victory, is what will keep me playing for a very long time.

The gameplay is not only intuitive and challenging but it's also engaging. The graphics are crisp, the animations are beautifully done and I can't stop humming that catchy tune in the game. Go grab a copy of Bucketz to test your reflexes and see if you can become a master of balance. I can't think of a better way to spend two dollars.

Electric Tentacle might not have that ridiculously addictive quality that something like Tiny Wings might still retain, it needs a few more persistent challenges to accomplish that, but what is there adds something original to the genre. Something that we could all do with occasionally.

With the number of tracks and the challenge of getting a gold mark on each one, it's going to take players a while to get through this game. Skyriders is definitely a fun diversion with plenty of action!

Slay the Spire is such a good game that even a poor port can't put me off of it. I'm not sure I've played a card game that allows for so much improvisation while still feeling challenging and rewarding. Hopefully, it will become a better experience over time with some key updates, but--even in its current form--I plan to happily put many, many more hours into it.

A great new release from the Angry Birds stable. It adds plenty of great new features to entice players in, both old and new alike. Fans in particular will be delighted, even if they will wonder where all their free time has vanished to.
