It's a game that could get away with being more expensive and still be worth playing so at less than a dollar, Get Outta My Galaxy is near unmissable. You won't be sorry.

Splash Dash is an entertaining endless runner that just needs a tad more content to increase its replay value.

Kitten Sanctuary doesn't reinvent the cheese wheel here (sorry), but the game successfully blends classic genres in an unexpected way that kept me playing far longer than I anticipated. It's a solid pick-up for casual gamers and cat ladies alike.

A collection of interactive short stories, The Guardian of Imagination is charming and morally-educational in equal measure.

Dragon Hills 2 is mostly a good–if simple–experience. The feeling of burrowing underground and emerging to chomp tons of zombies is smooth and completely satisfying. That said, there are times when the action can be halted by bizarre environmental interactions, and the depiction of the main character is just unecessarily uncomfortable.

It won't be for every player and may even lose some players very early on, but those who stick with it past puzzles and bosses will find themselves richly rewarded with a well-rounded, competent package.

Jousting is a time-honored tradition that has been woefully under-represented on iOS. Joust Legend aims to bring an end to this tragic injustice.

Virtual buttons are a nuisance, yes, but sometimes they're just the better way to do things. Or at least with Joe Danger Touch, while touch-optimized controls were clearly important, they were not perfected before shipping, and they're a large part of why this one crashes and burns too much for me.

I'm glad The Innsmouth Case doesn't just use Lovecraft to blindly celebrate his occult aesthetic, but at the same time the game feels like it stops just short of any biting criticism or satire. That, plus the repetitive nature of the game, can bog down the experience, but there are enough shining moments of comedy here that I enjoyed the experience in Innsmouth, at least the first few times.

It doesn't matter how fun a game is when more time is spent in menus than in the heat of combat.

Construction Simulator 2 is a all right time, but it's also a game that doesn't really jive with mobile gaming. It's a slow and deliberate game that rewards patience and accuracy on a platform that's ideal for quick experiences using a (somewhat imprecise) touchscreen. It's not exactly a bad game. I had quite a bit of fun with Construction Simulator 2 at times, but it also tested my patience constantly.

Minit has some neat tricks up its sleeves, but I lost interest in looking for them before I finished it. The looping mechanic is one that makes for a great pitch and first impression, but it gets old very quickly. This isn’t to say there aren’t things to enjoy about Minit, but they were probably far more enjoyable a year ago when the game was fresh and you were playing it with a controller

With the addition of new settings with the charm of Circus, more robust multiplayer action – and my personal wish – an endless mode that gets progressively harder, Woody Woodpecker could be epic. As it stands, it's a great bet for kids, a kick for nostalgia junkies and for all, at $.99 for a universal build, it definitely offers some ha-ha-ha-HA-ha's!
