DC Legends doesn't to a whole lot different from games like Mafia III: Rivals, but the fact that it deals in comic book characters makes it better suited for this type of game. Nothing in the game is a huge innovation, but if you're going to play one of these collection-based strategy games, DC Legends is a good one to pick up.- 148Apps

A great idea that comes up slightly short in practice, Helium Boy is still one of the few original 3D platformers in the App Store that deserves your attention.- 148Apps

Tree World is exceptionally simple but it's entertaining and oddly satisfying. It's the kind of game that will only ever require five minute sessions to check in on but there'll be a sense of achievement in that time.- 148Apps

A game that doesn't break the mould or do anything outlandishly new, but is certainly able to stand on its own two feet (so long as repeatedly dying isn't a deterrent at the start).- 148Apps

Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar is a fun online hack 'n slash that unfortunately lets its monetization play too big of a role in the game.- 148Apps

Carmageddon is an older game, and it shows even on a mobile device, but people don't always love old games purely because they're old. Sometimes they love them because they're fun. And despite the slippery controls, this bit of nostalgia is still very, very fun.- 148Apps

Don't expect anything too impressive here, but Excalibur is still an enjoyable, if not altogether memorable, side-scrolling MMO.- 148Apps

Very similar to other Tower Defense games but it's still enjoyable in its own right. It's cutesy and charming in appearance and the variety of different pets to use does add a more tactical element to things than you'd expect.- 148Apps

Gear.Club is a cool racing game that takes what's great about Forza and places it into a serviceable, mobile form. If some of its menus and mechanics were streamlined a little better, it could be truly great. Until then, Gear.Club is a pretty great racing game that's a little to cumbersome to bother with.- 148Apps

Crossword Dungeon is most definitely an interesting experiment and a very interesting new approach to crosswords, it just doesn't seem like it's been fully fleshed-out. That doesn't mean it's not fun or an entertaining distraction, though.- 148Apps

It's a bit more confusing than its predecessor, though-the time spent wading through conversations and dealing with the bizarre levelling system isn't really fun. On the other hand, its story features actual characters, which is a nice change of pace.- 148Apps

Fighting of Sango lacks personality. It is fun and at the low price of 99c, Tower Defense fans looking for another fix will enjoy it. However once you complete it, you'll forget all about it and feel no overwhelming urge to return.- 148Apps
