It’s remarkably different from the direction the rest of the App Store has taken, and it’s worthy for the way it and its creator have stood tall in making it. But beyond that the game is perfect for pick up and play, and has plenty of satisfying fast-paced action and insanity to be definitely worth checking out.

In the end, Rock(s) Rider isn't a failure; it just comes up a little short. With a little patience players can learn to work around the controls (for the most part), but a little tweaking would make a much-needed difference.

Again, there are plenty of great pieces to read on the ins and outs of what makes Dead Cells a great game. This mobile version is that exact game, but it’s a little harder to enjoy on this particular platform. So, unless the iOS version of the game is the only way you can play Dead Cells or you want to have yet another way to play it, I’m not sure why you’d get this version over the ones that came out last year.

Someday, I'm sure that the creative ideas of Action Button Entertainment will come in a package that I will truly appreciate the controls for, and I will love it unequivocally. Maybe next time.

Nothing about it is so wildly different that it will win over new fans though.

The gameplay in Trial Xtreme 2 Winter Edition is essentially identical to the other Trial Xtreme games but it's clear that this similarity is borne of the "if it ain't broke" state of mind. It plays smoothly with very few hang ups. Players will enjoy this titles, even if they haven't played games of this style before.

This is a pick-up-and-play title that is truly for gamers of all ages and types. It takes the Angry Birds physics puzzle genre and gives it a new spin.

For completionists, each level is gauged according to how quickly and accurately it has been completed, as well as if all the extra stars have been collected. Foosball HD is a simple but well-made game. It's going to be one of those games I start up anytime I'm showing off my iPad to someone who's never used one. It makes great use of the Retina display graphics and multi-touch.

Road Warriors feels fast and awesome as you flip and shoot your way through insane race tracks. It also does a great job of bringing you back to it by providing a new course every day and loot boxes to upgrade your car with. The track may not always be great, and you might not always have the best luck with loot, but the racing action here more than makes up for it.
