Miniseries debuts October 13 on Hulu
Returning to TV for his first regular small-screen starring role in 14 years, Michael Keaton heads the cast for an eight-episode dramatized adaptation of Beth Macy's best-selling nonfiction book exploring the opioid crisis. The adaptation comes from Danny Strong (Empire) and will depict multiple players in the crisis, from pharmaceutical executives to DEA agents to the residents of a Virginia mining town that is severely impacted by the crisis. Barry Levinson directs, while Peter Sarsgaard, Kaitlyn Dever, Rosario Dawson, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Will Poulter also star.
