Writer-director Nicole Holofcener reunites with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the star of her critically-acclaimed 2013 film Enough Said, for this story about Beth, a novelist whose life unravels when she overhears her therapist husband (Tobias Menzies) admit that he doesn’t like her new book. With supporting turns by Michaela Watkins, Owen Teague, Arian Moayed, David Cross, and Amber Tamblyn, the film is another Holofcener gem filled with smart, humane observations and humor.
