Yes, Chris Hemsworth’s Tyler Rake is alive. And how could he not be with that uber-alpha name? Also returning from Extraction are director Sam Hargrave, one of the writers of the first film, Joe Russo, and Golshifteh Farahani as Nik Khan. Rake’s mission this time, if he chooses to accept it (and when does he not?), involves rescuing the family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from prison. It’s hard work for an Australian black ops mercenary, but someone’s got to do it—even if it takes enduring a 21-minute, one-shot action sequence to do so.
