Below are the highest-scoring games released for Microsoft's Xbox One console between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. Games are ranked by Metascore prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 7 reviews from professional critics are excluded.
The latest rally-style racing game from Codemasters (the developers behind the F1 series, among other things) is the studio's best release in the DiRT/Colin McRae series since 2011's DiRT 3. Some reviewers called it the best of the series to date, though they also warned that it isn't exactly welcoming to newcomers.
