    she has die-hard fans that is why she got +8 user score but we all know this album is cheap and simple even tho her best,of course there are good songs like pendulum,into me you see etc but rest of the songs look like just filler songs to me and i have no idea what was katy thought when she did bon appetit,or swish swish or mind maze..anyway i am giving 3 points because i feel sorry forshe has die-hard fans that is why she got +8 user score but we all know this album is cheap and simple even tho her best,of course there are good songs like pendulum,into me you see etc but rest of the songs look like just filler songs to me and i have no idea what was katy thought when she did bon appetit,or swish swish or mind maze..anyway i am giving 3 points because i feel sorry for you katy i know that you are sad and this album wont cross over +60 metacritic score i know..… Expand

    This album is filled with amazing electronic beats and instrumentals. Very dance-able. Also has songs that really show that katy has grown so much as an artist.

    it´s the best album of Katy Perry, i have never found an album with only AWESOME songs. Katy hasn't put songs just to fill it. #ListenToWitnessOnSpotify

It's realky so good especially the ballads (Miss You More and Into Me You See) and there a lot of bops a great dance album also especially those future hits ( Roulette, Witness and Power ) better choice for singles.… Expand

    In her weakest album,Katy shows that being an empty hit maker for years won't help you when you want to show a little more substance.Supported by three forgettable singles,the album fails to show a more mature and conscious Katy,while trying to keep her roots in pop bangers.

    This album is such a disappointment... Songs aren't as catchy as they could be, some are in all honesty barely listenable. As for the lyrics, it's a mixed feeling from me. Katy Perry has certainly done better and this album will not go down as her masterpiece.

    This album is a hot mess! I love Katy but nothing matches here, the ballads are weak (usually they are wonderful in her albums) and the song that gives title to the album is a failure. The singles are really the highlights of 'Witness', Pendulum and Power are good though. But they seem to not fit in the concept of the album, if there is one.

    Album totalmente sem pé nem cabeça. Sonoridade e produções horríveis. Katy Perry infelizmente errou feito em tudo neste álbum. Não tenho como avaliar positivamente.

    Com apenas 3 musicas razoáveis, com feats incoerentes, mixagens pouco originais, Katy Perry faz mais do mesmo do gênero e cai num retrocesso. Depois de 4 anos a palavra que define é frustração.

    3 singles = 3 colaborations = Katy sub-rated.
    Witnes is a bad album. The fans don´t like it.

    I have no high hopes for this album whatsoever. I just know that this is going to be terrible way before it's released. Trying to stay away from mainstream pop but ended up sounding one anyway makes this album a super epic fail. I do not recommend this album to anyone looking for real good music.

    Her best album so far, every track has a story behind it and it's cohesive. Loved Witness, Deja Vu, Roulette, Hey Hey Hey. It's her most artistic, personal and cohensive album to date.

    Es uno de los mejores álbumes que puede tener katy perry,. trae consigo sonidos de los 80 , baladas bien hechas y canciones para bailar ( en otras palabra , todo lo que se tiene que tener para un buen álbum).

Katy Perry left deciding to change and now composed lyrics a little somber and with bands very different from what she would release years ago, the album can transport you to another world, where Katy tries to open her eyes to things that we should pay attention to.
    Despite the resiliency that was very present on the album, Katy brought strong and powerless lyrics as in Power, hey hey and pendulum, she was still able to highlight her vocals in the tracks.
    Although the first singles did not get a good approval from the public it is necessary to give a chance to this album that has great songs but that need to be digested in a slow way so as not to frighten its listeners.    … Expand

    Witness es un viaje a travez de sonidos diferentes que Katy no habia tocado pero, apesar de tener buenas canciones su voz no llega a acoplarse correctamente, y no llega a ser agradable a mi gusto, un disco muy bueno y arriegado, pero ese riesgo no fue del todo bueno.
    Recomendable si les gustan los sonidos diferentes, aun mas que sus 3 singles.

    Um álbum bastante esperado, que ao meu ver começou bem e foi dando deslizes no seu decorrer. Katy apresenta uma proposta inicial de empoderamento que é quebrada nas duas próximas músicas lançadas (bon appetit e swith swith) que remetem a sexualização da mulher e afronte entre mulheres, respectivamente.

    Perry tried to show herself as 'grown up', but songs about sex and cheap diss-tracks are not as good as she thinks. Song called 'Witness' deserves a better album.

    Katy Perry doesn't have talent. It's been clear as she can't release ONE good album. She used to have some cute singles once in a while, but with this album, not even that. The singles are bad, the album tracks are bad, even the title track that sounded amazing as a demo sounds bad. She truly has no talent, creativity or artistic vision to do anything related to music. The cancer of pop.Katy Perry doesn't have talent. It's been clear as she can't release ONE good album. She used to have some cute singles once in a while, but with this album, not even that. It's good that she's been flopping lately because at least now the public can also see what the critics have always seen: HER MUSIC IS TERRIBLE. There is a reason why she took so long to finally release her first album, nobody trusted her, because she had terrible ideas and ruined everything she touched. The only reason why her singles were tolerable before this album was because they were produced by Dr. Luke, who used to be a cute producer.     I do not understand why Katy Perry dosn't move on? She stands still since 2011. Witness is the same album as Teenage Dream, Prism. Swish Swish is Truffle Butter...

    Her best alum since Teenage Dream, she was reinvented but teenage dream still her escential album in her carreer, deserves more score on metacritic, critics who was reviewing bad this aalbum can kiss my ass :*

    This is definitely Katy's Artpop era. Except for Pendulum, Roulette and the Nicki track nothing is very appealing. A downgrade from Prism and not worth a 4 year wait. But the singles will be over played on the radio. The entire album was made for the radio. I think she is using Taylor's name to sell.

    This album is basic. I did not find anything special. Probably these good notes of the users here are of Katycats accustomed with the basic one. I found Prism slightly better, but nothing very surprising. What to expect from a basic artist like Katy Perry? In that Era, Katy is lost. Poor girl.

    This album is totally Different from all her stuffs before. Haters gonna always give a bad review no matter how good is this album. But this album is 10/10 for me.

    While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.

    It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
