Jun 12, 2017Painful to listen. It's completely a messy production with forgettable clinched lyrics and horrible lifeless sound. There are full of fake emotions but no originality or creativeness at all. This is unforgiven considering 4 years of waiting. What a shocking disaster! The biggest disappointment of the year!

Jun 9, 2017Maybe the album won´t have so many hits, but Perry is showing a new sonority and a conscious pop. I really loved this album, it´s a funny a serious album at the same time and sure is the best album of this year

Jun 9, 2017Her songs are like stories, and each one tells a unique experience from one another. Each song sounds totally unique, yet it all blends well together. Her songs with seemingly less lyrical effort are redeemed by the amazing production each song has. It's overall different than any of her previous albums, but will definitely be another highlight of her career.

Jun 10, 2017I love it, I feel that Katy has improved a lot in her music and as a person, besides the first time I liked all the songs of an artist album, the album is heard fresh, varied and with a lot of potential.

Jan 19, 2019You have to listen Witness twice if you want to really appreciate some songs. Despite being a experimental production-songwriting mess, the record ends up bringing to us a few decent songs, that (obviously) you can't dance to but they still are enjoyable.
Highlights: Chained to the Rhythm; Miss You More; Power; Swish Swish; Witness -

Jun 10, 2017Um álbum totalmente novo do que a Katy já fez, mais maduro e mais pessoal.
E como sempre, não decepcionou! Witness, best album of 2017! -
Jun 10, 2017Album is really pretty good. it has certain idea and sound of an album, and it sounds really-really great. if listened only to CTTR or BO i will NOT get the taste of this album. As for me, the greatest song on this album is "Miss You More" — powerful ballad-confession and one of the most beautiful songs by Katy EVER. Witness should be the bestseller of the year.

Jun 10, 2017The best album of the year for me, surpassed the vocal quality of "Prism". Sounds like a mature Teenage Dream, and that's wonderful. Congratulations Katy Perry and producers xx
-

Jun 10, 2017This album needs more than a listen, it has deep messages, great letters and sounds different from those already seen.
It seems flat and no sense, but is more, such a great album.
The best are Witness, Power, Miss You More, Tsunami, Chained To The Rhythm and Pendulum.
Give it one chance, it worth it, -
Jun 10, 2017Definitely this is the best album by Katy Perry contains a mix of very good sounding songs also very good as a witness, miss you more, power, roulette, mind maze and into me you see.
-
Aug 5, 2017Perfect, she is clearly more mature and her men's music shows as that. This is probably one of her most transparent album, showing much more from her.
-
Jun 10, 2017Katy Perry risked it all, experimenting with the sound and being honest with the lyrics. The result is a revolutionary album, if you let it do it, it will open your mind and lead you through each song to the liberation that it represents.
-
Jun 10, 2017This album shows the best part of her career, shows how she has grown up in her voice and her lyrics. Her first album with single-potential in all the songs.

definitely better than her previous ones. -

Jun 12, 2017It's an amazing pop album with disco beats and fun lyrics, my favourite track is 'Roulette' wich has an 80´s disco vibe, it's her best album yet, and has a lot of good messages you should definetly listen to

Aug 13, 2020While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.
-
Jul 6, 2017While she may have slipped down the pecking order, Witness proves she’s still a more interesting pop star than she’s often given credit for.
-
Jun 28, 2017It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
