WITNESS is showing us a lot of her side that we've never think about it before. Katy is success by releasing this and we just couldn't agree more that WITNESS has a lot of good songs (almost all of it).

I never thought I'd hear such a good album, Katy. Different sounds, good production, good lyrics she got over and brought one of the best pop albums of 2017

That's a masterpiece!! it obviously deserves more than the points that the critic gave! The production, the voice, the lyrics, the sounds... is everything perfect. Great job Katy! It is a Grammy worthy.

Most of the songs in this album are total trash with no sense of rhythm, definitely not music you can dance to. The only one worth listening to is the collab with Nicki, and that's because the beat is awesome and she slays her part. Very disappointed by her new music, hope she gets back to making good pop hits

In Witness Katy Perry is more mature, she opens her heart to songs like "Miss You More", "Save as Draft" and "Into Me You See". The album is not just about politics, it's about a woman and the world around her.

So different to her other albums, but it's amazing! Great vocal song and production. Deja Vu, Tsunami, Witness, Roulette, Miss You More are the best tracks

Worth the wait. Every song is a bop, from Witness to Into Me You See; and the ballads are just unbelievably beautiful. Thank you Katy, you never disappoint.

The worst album of Katy Perry's career. It is disappointing an album that begins with a slight footprint in the title track, witness, go falling while listening to the others. The generic instruments and lack of concept in the album make anyone give up listening to it until the end.

Her worst album. Katy Perry lost her soul in this work, i can't feel her. Prsim was even more mature. I don't think if she's going to sell again like she did before.

I really wanted to like this album and give it the benefit of the doubt. Some of her tracks are really good but the lyrics are doghouse and the production of the music is not hers, that's the record label that manages all that. so looking at just the vocals and the lyrics this albums far from perfect.

lots of songs are so poppy and disconnected from her, for a girl who is suicidal surely this should be the most, from the heart, compelling music she's ever made but it's far from that. For example, what the hell is roulette? What on earth is that song trying to convey? nothing, there's nothing to take away from that apart from the fact that it's generic pop music designed the full out the album, Hey Hey Hey, written by SIX PEOPLE, it took SIX PEOPLE to write that garbage.

There are bands out there who make far better music then this, it's not worth anybodies time or attention. 5 stars cause perry has a great voice and the production is pretty darn good (mind you generic at the same time) but as far as music goes this is just trash

I really thought that it will be the first complete album that i will love of Katy perry but... toooo much auto-tune in some song, and in other songs the verses are good but suddenly the chorus appears and it sucks...

Meh. it's not best thing I've ever heard but it works on some levels. The production is really good, it's actually the only thing that I like about this album. The lyrics are cringy (especially in Swish Swish and Hey Hey Hey), I hate how she's trying to be "woke" nowadays and her vocal performance on this album is awful.

I suspect that most of them are teenage Katy Perry stalker fans because this album is embarrassingly bad, especially after the way it was hyped up. I'm still confused as to why any artist would make a grandiose announcement claiming that they will be releasing purposeful music, and then come out with a song like "Bon Appetit". Seriously? I can't even listen to the whole song because my head hurts from face-palming so much. Personally, I barely made it through this album. I found the songs to be, for the most part, boring, and the lyrics nothing short of cringe-worthy. I honestly feel like a middle school student could write better lyrics, and that's just sad knowing that there was an entire team of people working on this album. I think there was 1 song that didn't make me want to jump out of a window: Into Me You See. The rest seems over-produced and I agree with other reviewers who said it doesn't seem like Katy believes the words she is singing. I'm glad I didn't spend any money on this album, as there are other artists making much better music right now. This fell very short for me. Expand

Estamos sendo testemunhas do crescimento da Katy Perry como artista, e isso está sendo maravilhoso. Katy construiu um álbum diferente dos anteriores e não deixou a desejar em nenhuma faixa. Minhas faixas favoritas são: Witness, Roulette, Deja Vu, Tsunami, Power e Bigger Than Me.

Her best album to date. All the songs sound like they belong to the record as opposed to being there to fill space. Very consistent piece. The production of the songs is next level from what we were used to hear from Katy, she's grown a lot artisticaly.

The best pop album of 2017. "Roulette" Is the best track of the whole album! "Witness" is not far behind, like "Bigger Than Me", "Miss You More", "Swish Swish", "Hey Hey Hey" and "Chained To The Rhythm"

This is by far Katy's most diverse and best album. DO NOT JUDGE THE ALBUM BY THE SINGLES. The Album tracks are amazing and you will not regret buying it. Her vocals seemed to have improved too, which can be seen on songs like Pendulum. Highlights of the album are; Witness, Power, Pendulum, Into Me You See, Chained To The Rhythm, and Tsunami!

Her best album to date! Great lyrics, belted high notes and sonically friendly songs. Remember, "0" reviews are from haters and they are pressed because Katy released the best album of 2k17. Anyway, the critics are biased so don't rely on them, too.

It's her best work yet. Witness really shows the side of Katy that she never show us before. Every song is beautifully and professionally made and craft into a piece of art with a tune that you cannot deny it's fun to dance to. MASTERPIECE

This is the MASTERPIECE of Katy Perry. Passion, energy, feeling and vulnerability that enclosed in the same place gave birth to this cd. The instruments are something really unique and rare. Mind Maze is the only disappointing track on the record, while Tsunami seems a bit boring but the song is a grower. While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.

It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
