The Truck Violence lads haul themselves through miles of grim filth to emerge sparkling on the other side in a big emotional ending with guitars soaring as free as the vocals. It’s a moment of long overdue catharsis.

This is what makes the Montreal-based outfit stand out from countless other post-hardcore outfits, though.

That physicality works best when transferred through the band’s delivery, even if the compositions hamper that rate this go-around.
