Her best album to date, Ariana shows growth in her songwriting and matureness in her sound. A perfect combination of R&B and pop, she gives the audience fun songs to dance to and sad ones to reflect to. For a while, when she released "Sweetner", I was scared Ariana lost her incredible potential as A-List, but thanks God, she proved me wrong. Thank You,Next makes up for every failure Sweetener made last year, this time the experimentation was succesfull, the album is very varied but manages to remain cohesive,a total success in my opinion

With great sounds like R & B or trap, Ariana in these songs tells us the darkest moment of her life.
She brought us what "Sweetener" did not do. A great album and without doubt one or the best of her career.

Her best album along with Dangerous Woman. Lyrics are slightly generic and boring but capture the overall emotion in the songs well. Production is excellent but is a bit repetitive but overall all the songs are spectacular, with 0 skips. A huge improvement from her previous effort, Sweetener. Full of bops but with a lot of quality, Grande almost reached the peak of her records (sweetener still holds that). Now Ariana isn't outside of her comfortable area like Sweetener but she still was capable to brought uniqueness and quality to her public.

Ariana opens up her heart in this album. This is the reason why almost all songs seem very familiar to ordinary people. Sound of this album contains pop and a little bit hip hop. Actually, it's sounds perfectly. Only "make up" is extra here, the album can live on without this song. However, we don't concentrate our attention on it as sound. Her best album since Dangerous Woman

It may sometimes feel like there are too much yuh’s or that the track’s production isn’t good, but overall it is an interesting, fun album. Best songs: 7 rings, buwygib, make up and bloodline.

In a sentence, Thank U, Next is Ariana Grande's most cohesive and innovative body of work to date.

For context, Thank U, Next comes right after Pete Davidson and she broke off their engagement. Musically, the album is definitely a departure from Pharell's usual production on Sweetener. A lot of reverb and atmospheric production is there. Highlights of the album are ghostin, fake

Ariana Grance show us her new sound. This album has 10/11 amaizing songs, but the lad single "thank u, next" seems as a child song. The only bad songs of this album is great and would be the best song of so much male artists nowdays...
Congrats Ariana, you did a good job.

I love this, i think that's what we need now. This album is the change of Ariana Grande, she start to write songs about her life and i think it's very good for a young singer like her.
    Love it so so much.

Released less than 6 months after Sweetener, thank u, next seems somewhat like a rebound album. However, that doesn’t change that this album still holds up as, arguably, Miss. Grande’s best album. The album opens with “imagine” which, in the closing seconds, displays Ariana’s amazing ability to control the whistle register, a very rare skill. The album opens with “imagine” which, in the closing seconds, displays Ariana’s amazing ability to control the whistle register, a very rare skill. Whether it’s an upbeat track like “NASA” or “bloodline,” or a slow jam like “needy” or “make up,” the singer is always making it very apparent that she’s having fun with her work and that she loves what she’s doing. The title track and lead single has become a modern classic for it’s music video filled with movie references. The second official single, 7 rings, is one huge flex. Grande isn’t afraid to remind us that she is indeed very, very rich. The third single, and final song, on the album is titled “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” and yet again shows us that Ariana isn’t afraid to have fun or steal your man. Overall, thank u, next made it overwhelmingly clear that Ariana Grande is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry and secured her status as a “main pop girl.” Expand

Swifties who went through so much to give this a negative rating after the release of Lover are literally what makes them the most insecure and hypocritical fandom ever. Giving my rating, as a listener after 6 months, one of the most cohesive pop album of 2019 for sure.

    Amazing pop album
Альбом спустя полгода звучит также свежо и ярко, это разве не успех? Ариана сделала что-то такое, что колыхнуло мир музыки, теперь Ариана прочно здесь основалась и никуда не собирается уходить.

Thank u next is an album full of pop bops. There are ZERO collaborations, with 23 co-writers. This spawned hits such as thank u next, 7 rings and break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored. This is one of those rare albums I can go through without skipping.

There is a BIG difference between tun and sweetener. Finally pharrell isnt producing, max martin is. Great album full of hits.

It’s an album that reflects real situations and emotions, that everyone has experienced. ‘thank u, next’ becomes a great next chapter for Ariana, complementing ‘Sweetener’ as a perfect closure.
‘thank u, next’ makes you suspect that Ariana's best work is yet to come.

thank u, next builds on Sweetener by switching modes of scale. It’s less about looking at the world than being by yourself, more focused on the textures of memory than our actions stemming from it. ... thank u, next is also Ariana’s most stunning vocal album.

[7 Rings] is a hit, but isn’t actually all that great, using Rodgers and Hammerstein’s My Favourite Things as its sing-song musical base. The rest of the album remains of interest for its evolutions in sound, delivery and attitude.
