    Impersonal, Incomplete & Irritating. Ms Grande's Album feels off, at the first listen it sounds cohesive however this win gets lost amongst the various trap beats and repetitive lyrics. The 'bad girl' Persona Grande is desperately trying to convey fails to do it's job, perhaps in the next six months when she rushes to put out another Album Grande decides to go for another Character to play.

    Really not what I'm expecting from her, I can't get songs like break up with your boyfriend cause I'm bored, if you're bored then just go to sleep no need to separate the other this is just such nonsense. Have to admit that production on this album is outstanding but the lyrically in this album is so poor and there's some song that doesn't have a good message.     Terrible. I don't see much evolution whatsoever from her previous album, Sweetener, of which the only improvement made throughout THIS album is that she kicked Pharrell off of the production team. The only "good" (and I say that with hesitation) songs found on this album are Imagine and ghostin. Overall disappointing.

    I actually enjoy some of the song from this album such as bad idea, bloodline, thank u next, ghostin and imagine but the other is just nah. Song like break up with your boyfriend cause I'm bored and 7rings have very good production but with poor lyrics these song only sing about to having fun with someone else boyfriend when you are bored and how fancy you are and besides that nothing II actually enjoy some of the song from this album such as bad idea, bloodline, thank u next, ghostin and imagine but the other is just nah.     I'd be lying if I said I disliked every single track. I'd say "Bloodline" and "Ghostin" are the two standout tracks of this album, but unfortunately, everything else about it just weighs it down. The general sound of the album with the Hip-Hop/Trap beats just doesn't fit Ariana Grande at all. Her style is more Pop and R&B, that's where she shines, but this just really falls flat. We get an element of that in "In My Head" when she sings the title of the track, which is the high point, but then follows that with the "Skrrt, skrrt" which completely ruins it, like seriously?
    The album's singles are some of the worst Ariana has ever put out in her career. "7 Rings" is just awful, Ariana basically flexes like a rapper over trap sounds and it makes her look and sound like a total poser. "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" is incredibly irritating and vapid. As mentioned before, the trap sound just doesn't work, and just like "7 Rings", it is the complete antithesis of what Ariana stands for. "Thank U, Next" was okay at best, I appreciate the lyrics -minus the totally unnecessary F bombs in the chrous- but the production is still rather dull and boring and I wouldn't put it on my iTunes or Spotify.
    The songs are forgettable, the singles are a joke, and whatever messages she does try to convey in the album tracks are completely lost by such a lackluster and undesirable production, with the exception of "Bloodline" and "Ghostin".
    Overall, this was a really disappointing delivery from Ariana Grande. Just go listen to Sweetener instead.    … Expand

    This album is Ariana's peak era but it show she's still hasn't improve as an artist and I don't like this album she better collab with big Artist or do something new to put herself in game otherwise she's Drowning

    This album is cruel in each way. Soulless and cheap produced. AG is technically a great singer but she always sounds the same. It is boring listening to it.

    Ariana is very overrated in the music industry, She has a good voice but the whiny, cat like tone she approaches most of the time is a big turn off for me.

    This album is a disaster from start to finish. There was no effort put into this, the lyrics are horrible and childish. The melodies are just lame and overused. This is the type of album an artist (let me use that term loosely, since Miss Grande is certainly not an artist) puts out just to quickly fill up the bank account.     thank u, next builds on Sweetener by switching modes of scale. It’s less about looking at the world than being by yourself, more focused on the textures of memory than our actions stemming from it. ... thank u, next is also Ariana’s most stunning vocal album.

    [7 Rings] is a hit, but isn’t actually all that great, using Rodgers and Hammerstein’s My Favourite Things as its sing-song musical base. The rest of the album remains of interest for its evolutions in sound, delivery and attitude.
