    I loove this album! I loved it mainly because the album has several styles! Don't stick to only one type of music

    It is easy to overlook Olivia's songwriting capability, vocal skills, and brutal honesty in these songs because of the majority of the theme circles back to a breakup. But this album is so much more than that. It highlights the insecurity of young teenage girls and the desperation of holding onto something that you know you can't keep.     This is definitely a contender for the best album of the year! For a debut album, Olivia Rodrigo managed to exceed expectations. I love how she delivered pure vocals, lyric genius, best new artist and storytelling writing ability on each track on the album. Olivia's career will definitely be at its highest peak for this. She's a star to look forward to! Superb album!

    Sour, for the most part, is a pop album that dips its toes into the alt-pop and bedroom pop subgenres, specifically spending most of its time in the latter. ... Rodrigo's lo-fi deep cuts that were made in the shadow of "Drivers License" can sound a bit repetitive. Her craft as a songwriter is especially evident on tracks like "Enough For You", "Happier", or "Hope Ur Ok", but the acoustic complexion these songs were going for could have benefitted from a bit more background noise.

    By the end of the album, Rodrigo has established her voice and showed listeners that she's not afraid to be vulnerable. SOUR is a strong debut that vividly illustrates the beautiful chaos of being inside a teenage girl's brain.
