    Katy brings the best out of herself in her vulnerable words & transparency. This album shows a very soft side of Katy where she just wants to going with a genuine Smile & nonetheless nothing but pure love. 10/10

    I think critics underestimated this album. Katy isn't critic favorite artist. Many people think Katy's music is childish or immature. Maybe. Bur this is her style.

    Definitivamente entregou o melhor álbum do ano para quem gosta de música pop! O álbum termina quando poderia estar começando, todas as faixas trazem a verdadeira essência de Katy Perry, não que ela tenha deixado de lado no "Witness", mas temos no "Smile" muita verdade e coerência.
    Os pontos altos do álbum são "Teary Eyes", "Cry About it Later" e "Resilient".

    This album was a disappointment. I didn't have high hopes for Katy and her music, but I did think it would be better than this. She has the budget for the best writers and producers in the world but this album still sounds dated, clunky, and tacky. Hopefully the next one is better but after this and Witness, I doubt the quality of Katy's music is on anything but a downward spiraling trajectory.

    O tanto que a Katy Perry serviu nesse álbum... Descreveu tudo o que estava sentindo esses últimos anos e foi perspicaz. A crítica sempre vai esculachar a Katy independente se ela servir ou não porque eles têm raiva dela. Smile é um álbum impecável e com toda certeza vai me trazer mais felicidade no meu dia a dia

    The album in itself is very fun and has a chill vibe. it’s cohesive and flows together perfectly. teary eyes and not the end of the world, personally, are my favourites. every song just pulls you in and keeps you invested beginning to end. no skips and no filler tracks. excellent work katy!

    Very bland, does not offer much. Was hoping she would pivot. It also does not fit the current climate. Songs apart from NRO lack luster.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
