É um álbum muito gostoso de ouvir e sem dúvidas o melhor dela. A crítica não gostou pois são v3lhos babões banguelas que não conseguem mais sorrir. Eu amei muito.

Critics don’t know what they’re talking about. They compare Katy’s album to other artists like Lady Gaga’s Chromatica when they aren’t even focusing on the general message of SMILE. This album is purer than gold and Katy has worked so incredibly hard for this for the past 3 years. Thank you Katy Perry!

The fifth Katy’s album is so brilliant! Perry shows us a complete artist in the start and end of the record and helps us recover our smile with her. The bests songs in the project are: Cry About It Later, Teary Eyes, Not the End of The World, Tucked, Never Really Over e Harleys In Hawaii.

In Not The End Of The Word, Perry’s back at masterpiece album PRISM (2013) and use sample of “Black Widow”, hit a Australian rapper Iggy Azelea, music that katy was a songwriter. In Tucked, the best of the album, the artist back us in 80’s and write of sex with your lover in a pleasant way to listen.
Well, Smile is so emotional and complete record, enjoy this masterpiece and bring you Smile in the best album of Katy’s career.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's a usual thing that musical artists, at some point in their careers, arrive at a more contented phase of their crafts where their "grown" selves are evident on the recent project they put out. Katy Perry is not there yet. It's not a bad thing. It means that we can expect more from her in her future projects. But with SMILE, it is evident that she's nearing that phase of growth in terms of her musical genuity. Smile displays a sense of transition from Candy girl to a more mature Katy Perry without compromising the danceability of the tracks such as the banger Not The End of the World, Tucked, and Champagne Problems. Vocally scrutinizing, Perry has improved a lot. She was able to put out great melodies, harmonizations and powerful vocals that we have never heard before from her. Perry's immense vocal range as noticeable in Never Really Over, Daisies and Harley's in Hawaii proved her expansive delivery with those signature Katy Perry curl styles. Cry About It Later is a perfect sequel to the heart-breaking hit, The One That Got Away where Perry positively claims that "she's ready to be someone's muse" and Teary Eyes is easily an anthem for the broken hearts that still can find their ways through the dance floor despite the pain. Resilient, Only Love and What Makes A Woman are tracks that prove her vocal versatility and the ability to connect listeners to more authentic stories through her songwriting prowess. Finally, Smile, the title track boasts a full-on Katy Perry signature charisma. It's full of fun and color. Undeniably, Katy Perry is one of the best artists today that's not afraid to get out of the limelight but still creating those unapologetic anthems and still building her unbridled artistry that brought her to world domination. Beautiful up beat body of work delivered by Katy Perry, only love and champagne problems are one of her best songs to date, with this record she proves why she’s a pop titan.

Absolute pop anthems. Smile delivers a more mature and resilient Katy while keeping the same familiarity that made us all fall in love with her a decade ago. Welcome back queen!

This is the come back I was waiting for! To be completely honest, I was a bit worried about the new tracks but I was wrong. They’re well written and produced. One of her best albums.

    部分歌曲之间的衔接有些些撕裂,处理的不大好,例如Not the End of the World紧接着就是Smile。 Not the End of the World紧接着就是Smile。

The whole album is amazing, the lyrics, the sound, everything. She outdid herself. One of the best albums of the year. The holy trinity is Cry About It Later, Teary Eyes, and Not The End Of The World. 0 skips. A great cohesive album. Congratulations Katy Perry.

Smile... smile... Katy Perry is back with these catchy and energic sounds. If you listen the album carefully and understanding its lyrics you get that there's a story there, to the sadness to the confirmation of herself as a incredible woman. It seems it will be hard for critics understand this piece of art because is way opposite to them, pure, energetic, happy and love it for the people.Smile... smile... There’s not one bad song on this record. Katy released an album she was proud of herself, one that was authentic and truthful. A part of me feels like we got the old Katy back but a much more mature and grown one. I’m proud to say the least.

It’s clear after Witness, no critic will give her a truly fair review which is disappointing. Look to reviews of her previous records, it’s a cycle of tearing her down - just to back track years later and praise the album. It’s a running theme with critics and every Katy Perry release. That being said, as a fan of music, I’m going to skip to where the critics heads will be in a few years. It’s clear after Witness, no critic will give her a truly fair review which is disappointing. That being said, as a fan of music, I’m going to skip to where the critics heads will be in a few years. Smile is a fantastic pop record with diverse production, career highlight vocals, and much like her career defining Teenage Dream - tell a concise and powerful story hidden in nuggets of pure pop gold. Highlights are the futuristic thumping club banger Cry About It Later, the somber dance floor release of Teary Eyes, the humbling reflections on Only Love and What Makes a Woman, and the irresistible sex appeal of Tucked. Katy seems to have found her footing, and is owning her brand. Katy is an artists that is bubblegum by choice. Katy doesn’t need to make pop records, but pop music needs Katy Perry. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Katy Perry certainly got her smile back and she showed it perfectly on this album. starting with the well-known Beber Really Over integrating the new dance track Cry About It Later until Whats make a Woman that finally shows what a woman needs to be. Smile brings back the nostalgia of pop chewing gum from the 2000s pop, contrary to the eighteenth footprint of several singers, Katy takes you to the 90s in Tucked that will surely make you dance a lot, and we cannot forget the wonderful trap footprint of Not The End Of The World. The Smile album is certainly an album to make you smile a lot in these troubled moments in which we live. Expand

Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
