    This is a great album. In each word of the songs, you can feel positive energy, motivation and life expectancy along with a happy rhythm that makes you feel good. All of this, in addition to the wonderful sound of Katy, has created an album that is the best happening of 2020.

Sin duda uno de los mejores álbumes de 2020 Smile lo tiene todo es tan arte y sus canciones icónicas son lo mejor no se por que están desaprovechando tanto arte, que con esfuerzo se a construido mediante esta pandemia katy perry con tantos problemas en entorno familiar y con su embarazo nos a dado demasiado arte y muchos no lo están valorando love katy perry… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is her best work since ‘PRISM’. There are 0 skips ! She got alot of negative comments about ‘Smile’, but you can completely ignore that. Because those negative comments are from the same people that wanted Katy Perry to experiment with her sound, and when she did that with ‘Witness’ she got the same negativity. Go listen to the full album with a clear mind, relax and listen to what Katy has to say. Her Lyrics are very deep and may reflect on your personal life. It’s a very hopeful album, and I think this something we all can relate on during these challenging times. I appreciate Katy for going back to her pop/trap roots and give us a ‘Dark Horse’ 2.0 with ‘Not The End Of The World’. This is something I wanted from Katy music wise for a very long time. If u loved ‘Roulette’ from ‘Witness’ u definitely want to check out ‘Cry About It Later’ and ‘Teary Eyes’. Again I feel with this album Katy created not only pop perfection but every song has it’s own story. Not alot of chart topping songs these days can relate to that. So with all of this said, the last thing I want to say is that Katy Perry is back, and once again left her Fingerprints in pop music history!… Expand

    4 be really the better song is never really over
    But all the songs except "smile" is cool.
    This is one goood album,Katy was pregnant when she does this album and get out of the depression

    Katy demuestra que deja el lado oscuro y depresivo de Witness con bops como "Cry About It Later" y "Champagne Problems", los cuales transmiten diversión y felicidad. Una artista que merece mucho más reconocimiento por los medios.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
