    Simply Amazing! The story she is telling is so powerful, love how it’s divided in 4 sections - tears, resilience, happiness and love. So sad critics can not understand this.

    Maybe the best record in her discography. It will give you your smile back. My favorites are Cry about it later, Not the end of the World, Tucked and Only Love

    Unexpectedly great. Her best album! Cry About it Later, Teary Eyes, Champagne Problems, Tucked and Not the End of the World could all be amazing singles. The album is a more cohesive and mature version of Teenage Dream, and it means a lot for a pop album.

    Currently this disco art is among the pop world, but Katy brought in a better way and a dance ballad and with a quality and mega production. His vocals on each track are irrefutable to come back and listen again. I see an album with few median tracks, the title track 'Smile' is something very weak but it is not enough to be highlighted by something negative. The concept of clowning gave a more perspective and evolving look, and its participation and touch of Katy Perry in each track.

    You can see how she grew through the pain and came out of her dark place with one of her best albums ever, if not the best. You heal yourself with her while listening to it. That’s pure greatness! A heavenly record that deserves all the love in the world.

    This pop masterpiece stays true to its name, it really makes you SMILE! Listening to this album I felt so many emotions, with every lyric, every line and every song Katy digs deeper into her soul and exposes her feelings and emotions.
    From surviving serious depression twice in career, it seems she’s finally found inner peace and I’m so grateful she has shared this experience with us.

    I’m honestly very impressed. She delivered great pop songs with good lyrics and staying true to herself at the same time she was staying true to her own sound, wich, my opinion, she made it evolve. My favorite songs on the album are Cry About It Later, Not the End of the World and Never Really Over.

    Everything about this album makes it Katys best. From the top #15 hit Never Really Over as the opener to the laid back country-esque closing track. Not to mention all the dancy empowering tracks in between. With the current events going on in the world, Katy gives us 37 minutes of relief and dancing with Smile.

    I’m not the biggest pop music fanatic because i usually just listen to hiphop or rnb but this record hits differently. I’d have to say it’s impressive how this album has no fillers, and it only shows how talented katy perry is because she was able to pull off a skipless album despite being pregnant with a global crisis.     HER BEST ALBUM AND ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Literally no skips, and the fact that she doesn’t recognized for it, it’s sad and frustrating.

Some bangers like “Not The End of The World” or “”Champagne Problems” sound like instant hits right on the first listen, and apart from some more ‘classic’ Katy Perry motivational singing, there isn’t much of a feeling of any filler tracks.With elevated energy and the eager attitude to better herself every time, Smile definitely scores as her best work to date as far as production goes. Perry has definitely found her rhythm again, is now on her feet and going strong. The only options as far as a comparison goes is to the two other pop masterpieces released this year, Chromatica and Future Nostalgia, and Smile rightfully deserves credit for striking a polished album that finds a balance between these.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
