    Another superb pop album by Katy Perry! I'm seeing a lot of negative 0s reviews, these must be from people who are very jealous of Katy's bubbliness, radiance and positivity!

    What an experience ! Katy Perry didn't shy away to bring up the issues that many artists hesitate to talk about. in my humble opinion, it's much better than all of her previous projects. I read the professionals critiques and I'm just shocked that how can any body be so cruel, hard and harsh towards an album that brings hope, resilience, and obviously smile.     Katy's SMILE is the most perfectly pop balanced album I've heard in a while. Her range both vocally and lyrically has been ably depicted in Smile. Tracks like Never Really Over, Harleys in Hawaii, Teary Eyes, Not the end of the world, Tucked and Champagne problems are the best in my opinion. If you are planning to listen I suggest you do it immediately

    A full range of sounds from Never Really Over to more serious sounding Not the End of the World to a fantastic ending to the record with Only Love and What Makes A Woman.
    My favourite Tracks are Resistant, Cry About It Later and Never Really Over.

I don’t know what happened to the expert critics when they were listening to Smile, because it reached a very low note and like I said before THE ALBUM IS AMAZING. Never really over starts the album with the idea of a dependent person, who is lost after a breakup. Katy needed the love and validation so when she hadn't it anymore, everything was senseless. Then the story continues when she tries to forget the problems with cry about it later. She realizes that it's okay to cry because it can heals you in teary eyes. Then she gets stronger by looking how far she has come with daisies and resilient. "It's not the end of the world, actually it's just the beggining." is a song as powerful as this phrase and it brings us to the part of the album when Katy find her smile back as the song theme of the album says. Now she is celebrating life with champagne problems, tucked and harleys in hawaii. She is free and can enjoy life. The album finishes with only love, which is what she needs the most (and now she has it). It's such an emotional song followed by what makes a woman. There it is Katheryn.     I just listened to Smile again paying attention to EVERY detail and I can say that it is Katy's best album. She brought cohesive lyrics, a good message (ESPECIALLY FOR WHAT WE'RE FACING RIGHT NOW) and the upbeating beats hiding the lyrics, perhaps the saddest that Miss Perry has ever done, fit into the "Sad Clown" concept that she has been talking about since the beginning.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
