    An amazing album! Has only one skip in my opinion but over all amazing! She really went off with rare and cut you off and made me feel something with vulnerable, dance again and lose you to love me!

    Selana Gomez sempre vem mostrando o seu melhor em cada álbum que ela faz, e nesse não poderia ser diferente. Apesar de algumas falhas na escolha das músicas, ele não deixa de ser impecável e sempre mostrando qualidade e coerência.

    O álbum mostra uma vulnerabilidade artística da qual gostamos de ver quando se trata de arte, letras impactantes e ao mesmo tempo suave que trazem uma reflexão pessoal. Muito bom pra ouvir e relaxar, é quase uma terapia.

    I'm pretty harsh when it comes to lyrics and when i came across "boyfriend" i was like ??? it had so much potential to be good lyrically. When it came out i didn't like any songs but the singles, that are just perfect, but i listened to it yesterday and i like it SO MUCH. Souvenir is the best track for sure, it deserves to be a single so bad, i can't believe i didn't like it.

    Definitely not a bad album. Gomez shows a side of herself that is more genuine and vulnerable than her previous works, but many songs still feel like they are losing that emotion to try and get yet another hit song.

    This album made me feel like i was listening to a very long song. Almost every song sounds same. Also the fact that many song consist of garbage songs that other artist did not put on their albums is the proof that Selena Gomez has no effor.

    Definitely her best work yet. It feels more personal and we can see she's actually growing as an artist. The fact that she's getting more involved in the songwriting process also makes it better and more believable.

    Every song is different and special in its own way. Ring and Loose you to love me are my absolute favourites! Didn’t like fun - therefore 9/10! She sounds confident and ready to see what the future holds for her.

    It is an excellent album where we can see how Selena plays or discovers new rhythms and sounds, the great growth since Revival is also noticeable and one we noticed a Selena more sure of herself and her lyrics are of self-esteem and acceptance that are very important issues today, if Selena gave us an album of self-love. Amazing!

    Most of the songs, I wouldn’t listen to and I think Selena barely promoted the album and seems to have stopped caring about it. I’m giving this a good score because OVERALL it’s satisfactory.

The other songs are amazingly well written, unfortunately the tone of the album is all over the place. Even though every song is executed well. My biggest complaint of all is on her song " A Sweeter Place" It really makes Kid Cudi sound like he is doing all the work. Selena's voice sounds flat and lacks emotion. That being said the song itself is very well done. It just really seems like she didn't even want to sing the song. She sounds uncomfortable and it affects the overall message. I also think Selena should stick with her more sultry persona. The contemporary artist just doesn't work as well.… Expand

    This is Selena's best album so far. Though I wish there was something new to her vocals rather than just her typical soft voice, but I think she did very well with this album. I am impressed.

    You know an album is good when you can’t pick favourites. Even tried picking my top 5. It’s just so hard. I love how every song has a message to convey even the light and not too deep songs. I love how confident she sound on each track. There’s also so much emotion on how she sings which made every song heartfelt, even the fun and not too deep ones.     Such a good album. She has never been that vulnerable and honest, singing straight from her heart about heartbreaking and being disappointed. "Vulnerable" is the heart of this album, while "A sweeter place" is the brain.

    I got bored after like 3 songs. Just too much of the same vibes from every song. I only liked Rare, Ring, and look at her now. Idk how people like this album when half of it isn’t even hers

    There are some solid songs on the album that are truly good but, many of the songs don’t do it enough. It seem like Selena has not been able to find her sound and the title track was very underwhelming

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
