    Rare is Selena's best but yet most controversial album. She really proved how mature she is but antis keep saying the album is not showing any growth. If you look closely to tracks: Vulnerable, Lose You To Love Me, She, etc. , you will see her growth and how she became a strong independent woman.

    I expected more from Ms. Gomez considering that this was supposed to be her comeback album after a 5 year hiatus. Gomez’s 3rd LP is arguably one of her worst works.

    Very good album! Some songs are a little miss for me, like boyfriend and rare. But I enjoy most of the album and some songs are just awesome. I really really love Ring, Souvenir and Lose You to love me. People you know is cute too. Overall well put together album with some very cute bops.

    Rare is Selena's most cohesive work. While there are tracks in the album that are exceptionally good, I did find the production in others a bit off. Nevertheless, the album celebrates self-love and moving forward, which are great themes for self-empowerment.

    The versatility of every track is incredible, there are a lot of potential singles. The feature artists are very unexpected. Her vocals improved so much through the years. The album is good in general but the lack of promotion and bad choosing of singles damned it, it deserves so much more though.

    Altough this album has some songs that were better if they didn´t existed, Rare shows a big growth in Selena´s carrer, proving to be her most challenging album, so far. Marked by it´s nostalgic and soft vocals, there are several songs on this album that are capable of making him remarkable.

    Rare is a new sound for Selena, it has a truly heartfelt theme diving into many relevant topics in a relationship. However, Selena’s voice is not my favourite, showing little vocal skill. The rare visuals make up for it giving it a solid 6 rating.

    I wanted to hear this album because Lose You To Love me was good and i though the album will have this type of songs but now i can affirm than it didn't, the album have 0 cohesion, it's boring and repetitive, full of the same old rejects from her past album, this album is called rare but i don't see anything rare about it.

    The album is cohesive. You can feel her emotions trough the songs. Lose you to love me is a beautiful ballad. Souvenir, dance again, sweeter place are pretty good songs. Ring is fresh. In general is an amazing album.

    Album of the year. Wished the cover was different. Very refreshing and amazing. There are a lot of good songs like vulnerable, crowded room, rare and kinda crazy. Also ring! I like this style of her. I wish she can also do some of fetish and bad liar vibes for her upcoming music!

    Album of the year. It's concise, mature, and covers serious topics. She somehow managed to make a pop album that covers a wide range of topics while still being catchy. My favourite is let me get me, its about not letting your mental health get the best of you.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
