    I'm pretty harsh when it comes to lyrics and when i came across "boyfriend" i was like ??? it had so much potential to be good lyrically. When it came out i didn't like any songs but the singles, that are just perfect, but i listened to it yesterday and i like it SO MUCH. Souvenir is the best track for sure, it deserves to be a single so bad, i can't believe i didn't like it.

    probably my favorite album of 2020...i mean she worked on it for some time, and i love each and every song.. even bonus deluxe ones.. love her voice, soo pleasant

    Rare is a pretty good solid album and Selena did it well this time too. It has not just bops or banger tracks but it's more like a kinda "mid-tempo" album in its wholeness. And I must say, I like it. The theme of the album is finding out how important we are and don't let others try to make us feel bad. As for revival, Selena manages to put dance, pop, and latin-influenced music all in oneRare is a pretty good solid album and Selena did it well this time too. It has not just bops or banger tracks but it's more like a kinda "mid-tempo" album in its wholeness. And I must say, I like it. As for revival, Selena manages to put dance, pop, and latin-influenced music all in one and all the songs sound so good together. I love it.     I expected more from Ms. Gomez considering that this was supposed to be her comeback album after a 5 year hiatus. Gomez’s 3rd LP is arguably one of her worst works.

    Algunas canciones son joyitas, aunque muchas otras no hay por dónde cogerlas. Aun así, me está gustando la evolución musical de Selena Gomez.

    Selena Gomez did amazing with this album, it has incredible productions and incredible lyrics what results in a good album, we're not surprised with the quality in it :)

    Lo mejor del mundo, sinceramente tienen que escucharlo completo para dar su opinión, muchas de las críticas simplemente son tontas de personas envidiosas y necesitan que alguien las ame, wey las canciones son asombrosas no veo por qué darle una mala crítica

I think her voice is soothing and mellow , each song had a different meaning , and a different vibe to it , ring gave you confidence and in my opinion it’s the best song there , rare makes you feel amazing it makes you feel better about your body and who you are , dance again makes you want to stand and dance in any way you want it makes you feel free from chains , vulnerable and people you know are the most vulnerable songs there beautiful too , cut you off helps you get over a break up ( ring too ) one of my favorites is souvenir, it tells a beautiful story and it has amazing rhythm, vocals if she makes it a single it would be one of the best songs.… Expand

    A masterpiece! Her best album. She showed her brilliant voice on its best way. Underrated album! Every song is a bop. Deluxe edition magnificent, with one of her best songs “Souvenir”.

    This album is a breath of fresh air. While it incorporates real-life struggles, Selena shows that we can manage these struggles without forgetting to dance. Quite simply, this album makes me feel alive- raw and proud.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
