    Selena went through a lot, but I didn’t see that reflected in this album. She cried more over Bieber than the literal life or death kidney transplant that she didn't mention at all.

    She just did what she wanted to, get to everyone's feelings with her songs, showing off her best and all the things she has gone through, finally she is proving that she's glowing again and no one else could stop her in her way up to the solid success

    I'm sorry but all songs of this album sounds exactly the same and I feel like every one of them is a rejected work from another project. I saw some fans of miss Gomez that were so hyped up but... all that... for this. Doesn't feel right.

    A very solid body of work that translates the story someone who started over after a stormy period in her life. Honestly, I only checked it out because it got good reviews. I'm not really a Selena fan, but I will for sure add quite a bunch of these songs to my playlists. A very chill album if you're not paying attention but the lyrics are very personal. This shows selena's growth and musical experimentation, which clearly worked for her, truly her best album and one of the best pop albums in a lot time. Selena turned her growing pains to pop gold.     Lo que mas se puede destacar es la versatilidad de la artista a la hora de componer nuevas canciones. Claramente Rare no se podría comparar con los dos anteriores albunes de Gómez ya que son estilos totalmente diferentes. Por las letras de las canciones de Rare, se puede percibir la madurez tanto personal como profesional de la cantante.

    she really did that with this album. if you asked me about revival, i’d say “she could do better and we all know it”. but with RARE she really showed the world that she can sing and has a voice of her own. she made a story with this album and left the haters speechless.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
