    Rare is Selena's most artistic and experimental and personal album so far! Along with amazing lyrics and great production, it makes Rare one of the best albums I've ever heard.

    A pop perfection by Gomez. This album is pop gold, and Gomez's breathy vocals adds a soothing texture to every song. Taylor Swift' 1989 has officially found it's successor and it's 'Rare ' A cohesive masterpiece. Gomez just keeps amazing us with every album.

    Selena used this album to heal, find herself as an artist and a person, move forward and love herself. Rare is cohesive, beautifully written and sung and worth the 4 year wait. By far her best album and the most Selena release she has.

    Every song on Selena Gomez’s new Rare album is phenomenally produced, lyrically in tune and honestly breath taking. She really did THAT. The way she sings with vulnerability and pours her whole entire heart into her music is beautiful and very intriguing in many different ways. This is hands down one of the best female pop albums created in the last 10 years.

    Rare is a masterpiece and perfection. The whole album sounds different from generic music that other artist always do. When you listen the album seems like you are listening new genre and sound and this is crazy.     The album is definitely a 10 for what it is: a pop album. People might find themselves disappointed because they expect an R&B kind of album, but this is not what it its. This is a solid, un-generic, cohesive and consistent pop album.

    The best comeback. Her songs are so special and touch you the way any other music cannot. She is real. Her music is real. I’m very proud. Each song is unique and that’s what I love. Also the lyrics with the sounds? PERFECT.

    Honestly, one of the WORST pop albums I've heard in a long time. It has horrible lyrics, the production screams cheap + boring. I was expecting something much better considering LYTLM is a good song but damn... This was such a throwaway album. All skips except LYTLM, I wouldn't recommend anyone to listen to it.

    Love every single song! As soon as you hear rare you fall in love with it. I am a casual listener of Selena but after this I wanna listen to her whole discography! Rare (s) was my fave but now I'm struggling to choose between all the songs!

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
