    This album is simply incredible. It is so diverse but coherent at the same time. those saying it sounds the same only think that because she uses a soft voice when singing. But every song on the album has its own identity and meaning. I think the only weak song is People You Know because it is repetitive and does not have many lyrics.     Very sonically cohesive, fun and honest. Although some songs are better than others, there’s not a single bad song. No skips. It’s the most accomplished and cohesive pop album since Taylor Swift’s 1989

    This is hands down her best piece of work. The first album where I can confidently say there are no skips. Every song is a little masterpiece of its own. It’s obvious that she’s matured a lot since her previous album, you can see it in the lyrics (which she co-wrote) and the melodies. I also really love her voice here. All in all, a wonderful, well-rounded album.

    Até a sexta faixa do álbum tudo corria razoavelmente bem. Depois me senti cansado. Muito repetição, algumas letras fracas. Abusou dos hummm, ahhhh, ohhhh. Não é um grande álbum, mas tbm não é péssimo. Se fosse um EP com apenas as 6 primeiras faixas, seria melhor!

    I was very hyped about Selena's new music and I was ready to stream it for maybe a couple of hours when it dropped, especially the songs that I really liked, but what I didn't expect was to be hit with bop after bop in the album.
    I loved the album because it is fun and sweet, all the songs speak in some way about self-love and growth, yet it's so danceable and beautiful

If Revival was a stepping stone then Rare is a body of work that stands as a witness to Selena Gomez's growth as an artist that has found her footing and is ready to embrace it.     This album is good if you're going through anxiety, depression and/or self-esteem issues. The songs are very positive and the rhythms are really catchy. I recommend RARE a lot.

    Selena Gomez has created a beautiful piece of work with soft-subtle melodies of Selena’s signature style whilst expanding on that canvas with a patient execution of retro-futuristic influences. This 4 and a half year wait was worth it

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
