    So good. It really shows Selena's growth as a person and as an artist. She's out of her comfort zone and this album is so different from everything I've ever heard before.

    I’m not the biggest fan of pop music in general, but this album is gold! Almost every track on it is a banger, the production is just wow. Also Selena’s lyrical content has improved a lot since her last album Revival, and for me this album tops the last one to be honest.

    this album 'Rare' is pop perfection. Every single song is different and unique. it's sonically, vocally and lyrically amazing. A very cohesive album, Selena shows us once again how she's not afraid to try new sounds and take risks, which i personally love most about her as an artist. What a way to start the new decade. Thank You Selena.

    By far the best album she has ever released. Every song has a different meaning and the melodies and the beats are catchy but yet soft. I love every single one of the songs. If not the only one album, sure one of the few that I love every song, I can't skip not even one. After 4 years she has paid so much attention to every detail and this album is a masterpiece.

Instead of a breakthrough album lirically deep we got a reflex of her EDM collabs and shady lyrics about past relationships. Taking the fact that “Rare” has 39 writers, we can only conclude that Mrs Homez has nothing constructive to say ever. Sad thing about critical acclaimed “LoseAfter for years of wait, RARE is a week album especially when you look at what Gomez lived in those years. Instead of a breakthrough album lirically deep we got a reflex of her EDM collabs and shady lyrics about past relationships. Taking the fact that “Rare” has 39 writers, we can only conclude that Mrs Homez has nothing constructive to say ever. Sad thing about critical acclaimed “Lose You To Love Me” being the lead single is that no song in the album is better than it.… Expand

    Selena shared with us the most particular part of her. The songs is about everything she has pass in this 4 years that se was out of media. And the result? it can’t be better! The Lyrics is the most positive point about rare, but the instrumentals and her voice(better than never) its soo good as well. Rare is a Selena’s evolution, that make everyone that follow her career trough the years.

    It was so so good. On my 1st listen, its hard to find some favourite but after 2nd 3rd and many times heard it, i used to pick all of 13 songs ultimately bop and its really echoes, funky, kinda pop retro and ofcoz its RARE!!! Love from Malaysia

    Every track of RARE is a lesson of self love and how life can be fun. Refreshing, high quality, well produced and Gomez’s vocals are serving a good treat for the ears. Songs like Dance Again, Sweeter Place and Let Me Get Me makes you wanna stand up and make some moves. Awesome.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
