    Who cares about all these critics? Were they expecting a pop album? Or a thank u, next new version? Positions is not pop, so it can't be judged as pop. And if it were a new thank u, next, they would say Ariana always makes the same **** Positions has everything, potential singles, amazing vocals, and it's classic adn exquisite, at the same time it's sexy.

    this is her best album yet. it portrays her growth and healing process so well. her vocals are out of this world (my hair, pov, off the table!!!) and i love how she experiments with new genres as well! well done ariana this body of work is everything and more!!

It's a nice trasition from trap infused pop on her previous albums such as "thank u, next", to mixes of 90s r&b, hints of doo-wop style songs, and a couple ballads. She explores more of her range, hitting deeper notes, while using some songs to showcase her whistle tone for almost an entire verse.     The album for its self contains a lot of R&B, Soul hits, but it also has some misses. Some of the tracks felt like they were missing something, but the rest of the songs, and the collaborations turned out amazing, the instrumentals and vocals on point. Ariana did a great job with this album

It doesn't have a very striking song, no extremely strong beats or something, but they are songs with relaxing beats to listen to. Congratulations Ariana Grande for delivering another perfect album!

    Ariana Grande trouxe um trabalho com sonoridade muito diferente do que geralmente escutamos, um álbum r&b coeso e com muito a oferecer. Não há dúvidas que é o álbum mais maduro da mesma, Ariana nunca decepciona no quesito se reinventar.

La letra de POV es preciosa, Motive es muy movida, Doja hizo un muy buen trabajo, creo que West Side es de las mejores, puedo bailarlo todo el tiempo. Es su mejor álbum, el problema es que todo esperaban algo como Into You o 7 rings... las típicas canciones que son amigas de los charts.… Expand

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
