This album is a wonderful ride through the purest form of music: the melody and just Lana's voice, without any additional things. Her lyrics are like fresh water, and her voice combines all perfectly. One of the best albums I've ever listen to.

Lana's best record, and an album that will go down in history as one of the best of all time. The sound of the record is so cohesive and drenched in nostalgia, and showcases a decade of growth in her songwriting and artistic expression. Un completo fracaso este álbum, extraño los tiempos en los que su música era realmente buena como en born to die o el mismísimo lust for life. Aquí todas las canciones dan sueño haciéndole honor a su nombre, cerotana del sueño. Lo único salvable es Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me, but I have it.

La mejor experiencia para escuchar unos buenos bajos y detonar con la presencia del piano en su esplendor, un album que aporta mucho al carrete del alternativo.

I never thought I would like a Lana Del Rey album. I always said she was boring. But, this project is a combination of hurt and love. I just love it. I don't know how to explain it with words. It makes me feel good. The songs are amazing and she keeps writing amazingly too.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
