Norman F***ing Rockwell is one of the best album she's ever done, if maybe not the best one. I don't only say this because I'm a fan, I say this because never an album of hers touched me the way this one touched, and I think everyone should hear it.

“On her elegant and complex fifth album, Lana Del Rey sings exquisitely of freedom and transformation and the wreckage of being alive. It establishes her as one of America’s greatest living songwriters.”

I still don't know if it's a problem but Lana always sounds the same.I listened to all songs of the album and yes,we have masterpieces like Marines Apartment Complex and Love Song but at the end I felt like I was listening to the same song on repeat. The album is far from a bad job but Lana needs to evolve.

Constantly raising the bar for us all, and doing it flawlessly. I'd say I'm surprised, but I know who Lana is. I've seen it up close and personal. Girl, you make me so proud and I love you.

icon, legend, lana del rey snaps again. lana’s political awareness on this album shows a lot of growth and you can see that in the sound of the album and the lyrics.

No evolution on her sound. Boring album, BTD remains superior in her discography.

Excelente álbum. Traz uma sonoridade muito madura, com um instrumental que é um deleite para os ouvidos. Enfim, Norman **** Rockwell eleva Lana Del Rey para um novo patamar, a de pop clássico.

This is a masterpiece! Lana Del Rey achieved a new level on her career! Norman **** Rockwell assumed the n°2 position on my favorite albums from here, losing only to Ultraviolence, which, for me, still is the best work she has ever done!

Obra de arte! Uma composição perfeita, melodias tocantes, letras demasiadamente tristes e sinceras. Lana em sua melhor obra desde Ultraviolence, sem sobra de dúvidas uma obra prima da indústria musical

Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
